In honour of the Olympic Games, we’re looking back at our first Annual MVSH Lodge Staff Olympics, held last year at Chinook Winds Lodge!

This fun event was created for our staff teams to take part in a series of friendly competitions, all hosted right in the lodge, so our residents could join in the excitement. Events included the bed-making race, mop relay, dessert challenge, and activity challenge, with our residents proudly serving as judges. Medals, awards, and plaques were handed out to celebrate teamwork and creativity.

👉 We had so much fun, we're doing it again! Stay tuned for updates and coverage as we get ready for another great day of lodge Olympic challenges, coming this spring!

While the photo may take us back to sunny days on the golf course, these champions are out there right now braving the winter weather, plowing snow, clearing sidewalks, and keeping our residents safe and comfortable through the cold. ❄️

Your hard work and dedication make all the difference. Thank you for keeping our resident communities warm, safe, and smiling! 💙

What a day! Our MVSH Board of Directors, along with our Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Director of Facilities, toured our lodges and senior self-contained buildings across Carstairs, Cremona, Didsbury, Sundre, and Olds.

Seeing firsthand the spaces our residents call home helps guide the important decisions they make for the future. They even found a moment to unwind at Mount View Lodge with a bit of target practice and some well-deserved relaxation! 💙

The residents at Aspen Ridge Lodge had themselves a proper East Coast shindig today, kicking things off with a traditional Jigg’s Dinner!

After the hearty scoff (that’s a feast in Newfoundland slang!), an Armchair Travel session ensued, taking everyone on a virtual trip to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Then came more fun... Residents heaved and ho’ed through a lively dice game before being OFFICIALLY ‘screeched in’ with a shot of screech (root beer 😆) and the classic kiss of the frozen cod!
