Our first ‘custom make’ of the season was so inspiring that it has prompted me to create 3 additional products in likeness of it for our up and coming market.

This soya (preferred by client) based candle is fragranced with a toasted marshmallow oil and is finished with consumption grade glitter (candied).

The idea stemmed from ‘fallen snow, with a crystal moonlight glow’.

This custom made candle is held by a repurposed Swarovski glass, a custom one of a kind item, which I have had the pleasure of creating for someone special.

Not to go down the rabbit hole with petroleum products, but as we promote our Aloe Soothe this month, we made a previous mention that it is ‘petroleum free’.

I can only state the following from my own personal knowledge, and that is a majority of skin care products contain petroleum.

This is the same crude oil that is used for gasoline.

To meet market ‘standards’, brands bleach the oil to ‘remove the toxins’ and colouring during a refining process.

What becomes of this, is a cosmetic grade ingredient that is a highly processed and empty of nutrients item, which some state can enter the blood stream within 30 seconds upon application. The rabbit hole goes deeper with internal harmful effects with use.

That is as far as I am willing to go down the hole today, as I am only really here to sell my own natural product, which I can firmly say is a natural non toxic lip balm, that is Aloe Soothe.

Nestled in a 10,000 square foot antiquity shop called Past Glories of Toad Hollow, is your one stop shop for Christmas and other event shopping, Route 58.

Owned by Barb Ackerman who has been an avid lover of markets, and supporter of locally crafted goods for her whole life, she created a shop which she states is a "one of a kind, a couple of these, and a few of those" kind of stop.

Within Route 58’s enclosed area, Teal Tree Holistic Services has a pop up shop this season along side other 100% Canadian and locally crafted items by other vendors.

Our pop up shop includes exclusive to Route 58, ‘choose a tea, choose a cup'.

Honouring the vintage style of the total venue, Teal Tree Holistic Services has salvaged one of a kind, pristine, rare to find cups which pair with any one of our sample tea packages (7 bags).

These teas include, Immune Booster, Organic Chai and two of our top ten best sellers, Bamboo Green and Bonne Nuit.

You can also find our 100% organic totes (with logo) there to help Santa carry it all home!

And so it begins…our winter additions to our ‘Sales and Promotions’ album today.

The first video shows a custom made pain relieving bag.

This hand made (by Woodlands Cozy Creations) 100% organic cotton bag has been hemmed to seal the ‘Lodge Blend’ infused dehydrated pinto beans.

Our Lodge Blend, (shown in the second video) is a bathing remedy meant to relieve those suffering from respiratory issues.This blend can also aid with pains associated to colds and or flu like symptoms. The oils within it include, sandalwood, eucalyptus and pine.

Our $15 regularly priced Lodge Blend (equating to 4 baths) is $12 this promotion, (ending December 15th).

I have taken the utmost pride in creating custom made items, outside of my own retail line. The image below sincerely shows how I truly feel while making products.

With only one market left to be part this year, and a short holiday season, which ends December 15th, 2025, I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to view our Sales and Promotions Album, (found on this page).

This album showcases both our past and present custom made items as well as our seasonal promotions.

Simply by displaying a teal pumpkin outside of your door (porch), you are stating that your household offers items that children with food sensitivities could enjoy.

Items may include, toys and or candies (without nuts and other ingredients common to those with sensitivities).

This global initiative is meant to bring awareness to those who may have challenges with their intake of products during their Halloween evening and to promote the inclusivity of children with common allergens.

In this ‘Ode to Halloween’ (our final post regarding our Sales and Promotions for fall 2025), we pair our regular sized Chai Tea with this festive floral skull mug.

I am not sure what it is about the fall that makes me revert back to my time in Egypt.

Perhaps it’s the mysteries of the month with notes of spells and magic in the air that prompts these fond memories to come to the forefront of my mind.

It it by this, that our lastest addition to our Sales and Promotions album this fall was inspired.

This ‘ancient’ gift set includes our Milk Bath which became a final product following my trip to Egypt after learning of it’s benefits and Cleopatra’s sweared use of a product similar.

It also includes a mass market book of The Alchemist, a favourite read that takes place in so many wonderful locations which includes Egypt.
