With the spring coming around the corner soon we thought we would brighten it up with a floral art piece today 💐

Day 2 of "Après Ski-Chez Chalet Willowbend" 🚡❄️🏂

We enjoyed a busy day with Java Music then Latin Chair Dance with Michael. We had a special guest speaker whos a relative of a 1948 Olympic Gold Medalist show us their family history and memorabilia and enjoyed a deliscious hot cocoa bar with special sweet treat toppings ☕️

We finished off the day with a special wine and cheese and a beautifully made charcuterie board 🧀🍇🫓🥂

Day 1 of "Après Ski-Chez Chalet Willowbend" 🚡🎿🏂

We had a wonderful day warming up with some Chair Fitness then we enjoyed a delicious lunch. We got crafty painting mugs, danced to the beat of Sandy Shore and we got all our gear on including Willowbend Chalet Ski passes ⛷️❄️

And last but not least, we also celebrated our February birthdays today!! 🎂

A big thank you goes to our amazing maintenance crew for building our very own ski gondola ✨️

What a fun morning with the Peter Mennie Magic Show coming to Willowbend 🪄✨️

The room was full of laughter, lots of surprises and a few shy volunteers at the start but it was such a fun interactive show today!! A big round of applause to Peter Mennie - Comedy Magic - Serious Fun for making the trip to come see us and showing us all the tricks and jokes! 😆

Our Dinner With Friends this month was themed Chinese New Year! 🐉㊙️

We enjoyed a delicious meal of Chow Mein noodles, dumplings and egg rolls made by our amazing kitchen staff! We had some traditional Chinese music playing and had some activity booklets made to end the evening with!

Riverstone Olympics has begun!! 🏆🏅🏒🎯🥅🥌🪓

Team Willowbend brought home a bronze medal in Shuffleboard with all their hard work and training! A big thank you to Stirling Park Retirement Community for hosting such a great event!!

Today we celebrated Mardi Gras 🎊

We feasted on some snacks and Mardi Gras inspired mocktails, listened to some New Orleans Jazz music and got some snazzy pictures 💃

Our Candy gram delivery staff were busy busy busy going door to door to give residents their cards and chocolate on Valentines Day 🍫⚘️

We also got a very beautiful surprise from Sobeys Trim Road who dropped off some gorgeous roses for our residents and staff-Thank you Sobeys 🥰

Our Valentine's Day Willowbend Choir Show today was a wonderful treat. We are very proud of our choir group and all the hard work they've put in to rehearsing and singing with all their hearts 💝
