They started yoga in 1992 and have since practiced and studied in India with some of the most famous yoga teachers in the world IE: BNS.Iyengar,Sri K.Pattabhi Jois,Sharath Ramaswami,Sri Venkatesh.Sri Sheshadri (Mysore India.) Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Bangalore India),also studied Anatomical Yoga with Dr.V.Nagaraj,Dr.T.N.Manjunath(mysore) and .Ayuvedic Studies Yogiraj Jayant Rishikesh, Kotdwar( Himalayas India)

Both have been teaching since 2000 professionally in USA, Europe,Canada, Bahamas and Mexico before opening Orleans Yoga Shala in 2004. We specialize in Yoga Teacher Trainings at the 200 and 500hour level

The training sessions are top notch and fully encompass the experience learned over the 2 decades of experience. A full History of yoga ,evolution, practice , origins of gentle and challenging styles are covered ,paying close attention to "hands on"adjustments and safety.Students are encouraged to show compassion and conduct classes in the true values and traditions of yoga. Due to many requests !!! I will be teaching this June 5th on the Beach again at Petrie Island facing the sunrise. All ages and levels are welcome.
We will meditate a little, use breathing techniques, and gently stretch and tone our bodies. Then deeply relax setting a calming healing energy for your day.

Tried this pose today and could not feel comfortable . But I did feel comfortable 20 years ago when this photo was taken lol 🙏😊

Padma Mayurasana (lotus peacock pose)
In the yogic traditions, the peacock symbolizes beauty, strength, compassion, and the ability to destroy snakes or, more importantly, digest their venom. It is said that if you practice Mayurasana you will be able to digest the most toxic of poisons. Not that I’m suggesting you go out and down some arsenic, but your digestion will certainly be stimulated.
