Important to make it a habit of checking your baby's and toddlers shoes and socks as they're unable to communicate with words. Shoes could have rocks in them, soles could have damage, splinters in socks, etc. it's important to check proper fitting and shake out your children's shoes and have a feel with your hands on the sole. Same with their socks
“They’re not crying for no reason…” 👶🧦
Babies and toddlers can’t always tell us what’s wrong.
They can’t say:
👉 “There’s something in my sock”
👉 “My shoe is hurting me”
👉 “My toes are squished”
So they cry.
And sometimes… it’s not teething, hunger, or being overtired.
It could be something as simple as:
🪵 A tiny piece of wood
🪨 A rock
🧦 A bunched-up sock
👟 A shoe that’s too tight
Imagine having something stuck in your shoe and not being able to say it out loud.

💡 Make it a daily habit:
✔️ Check inside socks
✔️ Feel inside shoes before putting them on
✔️ Look at their toes for redness or marks
✔️ Fix twisted or tight socks
👶 Babies always have a reason for crying.
We just have to figure it out.
A quick check can save a lot of discomfort. ❤️
