January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month.

Use Danielle’s message as your reminder to get screened, talk to your healthcare provider, and start the conversation with others.
Share this with someone who needs to hear it.

Cervical cancer doesn’t just happen to “other people.” It can happen to young people, healthy people, parents, partners, friends — people like Danielle Michaud. At just 31, Danielle was diagnosed with cervical cancer and faced a reality she never expected. Today, she’s sharing her story to raise awareness, start conversations, and empower others to protect their health.
Cervical cancer is often preventable and highly treatable when caught early – with screening. Danielle’s message is clear: don’t wait, don’t assume you’re “too young,” and don’t put your health at the bottom of the list.

Our hope is to reach more people, reduce stigma, and help others feel informed, supported, and confident taking that next step in their health journey. Danielle’s courage is a reminder that awareness is powerful, and prevention matters.

Thank you, Danielle, for your strength, your honesty, and your commitment to helping others.

If you’re eligible for cervical screening, talk to your healthcare provider or visit CheckForCervicalCancer.ca.
Early detection can make all the difference.

Ho, ho, hold the alcohol! 🎅

‘Tis the season for celebration — but also awareness.

This holiday season, remember that drinking alcohol increases the risk of several cancers — including breast, colorectal, liver, and oral cancer. There’s no “safe” amount, and the more you drink, the higher the risk.

Raise a glass to your health with low- or no-alcohol choices.

Your health is the best gift you can give yourself. ❤️
