6 days to go and my ancient, aching shoulders have done 3,135 pushups. Goal: 4,000 by February 27th. Why? To raise money for the Canadian Mental Health Association who estimate 2,000 su***des occur worldwide daily. I have lost family, colleagues and patients, so it's personal. I'll be taking on The Push-Up Challenge again this year to raise awareness about mental health while promoting fitness and showing that staying active and healthy has no age limit.
