I used to think “managing” my emotions meant suppressing them.
Push through. Stay positive. Pretend I was fine.

But the heaviness never left.
It just got quieter — and stuck.

Then I learned something that changed everything:

Confession time 🌙 — I know this time of year can be a lot for our nervous systems, but I secretly love those quiet, twinkly evenings when the world finally slows down. The candles are lit, my diffuser’s on, and there’s that feeling of calm-before-the-holiday-storm.

On the flip side, I cannot stand the pressure to rush, overplan, and “make it perfect.” The performative busyness? Instant energy drain.

Even with the chaos, this season still has its magic — if we let ourselves slow down enough to feel it.
