Fresh air, big words, and even bigger connections 🌱

Our Learning Language in Nature group brings speech and language support outdoors through play, exploration, and shared experiences. Think nature walks, sensory play, and storytelling sparked by what children see, feel, and discover.

We’re building:

✨ Peer interaction and play skills
✨ Listening and following directions

🚨 ATTENTION DURHAM REGION & PETERBOROUGH 🚨

Our Literacy Explorers Camp is designed to help children ages 5–7 build the foundational skills needed for reading and spelling, all through engaging, hands-on activities that feel like play.

Each day reviews the skills introduced the day before and then builds on them by adding a new focus, helping children strengthen and expand their early literacy skills with confidence.

🧭 Day 1

Letter-sound correspondence, rhyming, blending, and phoneme isolation

🧭 Day 2
Letter-sound correspondence, rhyming, blending, phoneme isolation, and segmenting

🧭 Day 3
Letter-sound correspondence, phoneme isolation, segmenting, and phoneme manipulation

🧭 Day 4
Letter-sound correspondence, segmenting, phoneme manipulation, decoding, and spelling

🧭 Day 5
Letter-sound correspondence, phoneme manipulation, decoding, and spelling

Whether your child is just starting out or needs extra support, this camp helps build confidence with early literacy skills in a way that sticks.

A quick screening can help answer questions and guide next steps if needed.

We provide family-centred, neurodiversity-affirming speech-language pathology services to children and adults in our community. Our Speech-Language Pathologists have years of experience and extensive knowledge in evidence-based assessment and therapy, with a strong focus on meaningful, real-life communication. Additionally, our Communicative Disorders Assistants are skilled in providing speech-language therapy.

We support a wide range of communication needs, including:
• Speech sound disorders
• Expressive and receptive language
• Gestalt Language Processing
• Social communication
• Fluency
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
