Happy Belated Valentines Day from all of us at Sunshine Ridge!! Our Valentines /Palentines Day happy hour was a great success ! Fabulous new local musicians Ross & Deb were awesome! Everyone dressed in Valentine attire! Special Pink Mimosa’s on special ! Even Sunshine Mascot “Trucker” was dressed in his V-Day Best!! What a Lovely afternoon!

Galentines/Palentines Sip N Social Crafty afternoon! Crafty gals are making Gnome door decor to spread some Valentines love ! ❤️❤️ and another afternoon spent making upcycled Valentines cards to share the love and kindness with other VRS residents at Lakeside Gardens Seniors Community

Today was Sunshine’s Talent Show & Happy Hour! We are so incredibly lucky to have so many talented , creative residents here at Sunshine! We had an Artistic side to the show of Poets & Writers, Painters, Cross stitch, Quilters, Master Woodworkers, Photographers! Then the musical and performing part was amazing! We we are so proud of all the performers! Pianists, singers, musicians and even our Mexican Chef made his singing debut !

National Hug Day yesterday so who better than our Crazy Activities Coordinator Kim to dress up in a Care Bear costume share some love and hand out bear hugs to all the residents and then make “Hugs In A Mug” with “special” Hot Chocolate and cookies for our Wednesday social!! The January Blues won’t be getting us anytime soon!! Spreading Love and kindness!

Celebrating Elvis’ Birthday this week ending with a 50’s Soc Hop and Elvis Tribute Performer Forbes TCB entertaining the residents!
Our resident Marion took on the challenge of bringing her best Elvis Look alike to the show!! Such a fun afternoon!

Talk about an inspiration!! This is living!! This is “90something!” This is living life with No regrets! This is pure inspiration!! These Ladies rocked the Osoyoos Desert Sip Polar Bear Plunge this morning ! Not that we are biased, but our residents are the “COOLEST”🥶😜👏👏👏👏👏👏 way to go “Miss Norma Klein” turning 91 this next month! We are so proud of you!

Amazing performance once again from , and thank you to for the great Fireworks at 10 Pm we watched from our 4th Floor library Veranda and sipped our Champagne whilst making as much noise as we could!!

What a week!! Celebrating Christmas Spirit and Community with a few songs from Osoyoos Baptist Church Carolers, an Ugly Sweater December Birthday Happy Hour, and a beautiful performance by Diane Ball and her Littles! Daycare Dancers and we even had a wonderful Visit with Santa, Grinch and Frosty!! And a very sweet visit with Isla the Reindeer! Our hearts are full! Merry Christmas to Everyone!
