What often is not understood is that pain is caused by deeply ingrained habits of movement; by the way the whole body is organized to move. And these habits are formed in the brain. It is the brain that organizes all movement, thought, feeling and emotion. This means that to get rid of pain, we need to change the patterns of movement in the brain. We need to discover new ways to move our body as a whole. Even when the pain is caused by an external trauma to the body, such as sports injury, accidents and surgery, the solution still lies in creating new, pain-free patterns of movement in the brain. And this is exactly what the Anat Baniel Method does. The rich repertoire of gentle and safe movement exercises, take advantage of the powers of the brain to change itself and heal the body. These exercises wake up the brain and flood it with new information. The brain uses this information to rapidly form new patterns of movement, thought, feeling and emotion that are pain free. 🌟 Back feeling stiff? Try this in just 3 minutes! 🌟

Lie down on your back and take a moment to notice how you feel right now. Heavy? Uneven? Tight? Just observe.

👉 Slowly let your knees roll a little to one side, then gently back to the middle.
👉 Try the other side.
👉 Keep it slow and light — no forcing, no stretching.

As you roll, notice how your whole body “team” — hips, ribs, shoulders, even your neck — joins in to make the movement easier.

After a few minutes, pause in the middle. How do you feel now compared to when you started?

✨ 3-Minute Back Ease Exercise ✨

Take a moment to lie down comfortably on your back. Before you begin, just pause and notice how your back feels right now. Heavy? Tight? Uneven? Just observe.

👉 Slowly let both knees roll a little to one side, then gently bring them back to the middle.
👉 Try the other side following the instructions
👉 Keep it small, easy, and slow — like you’re rocking your body.

💡 Each time you roll, notice how not only your back moves, but also your hips, ribs, and shoulders. This is your body “team” learning to move together.
