Finally took the new shoes for a run... and hit the pool today!
I'm feeling pretty good with everything so far! Zone 2 training (with the swimming) has payed off so far and the results and effect on overall endurance are very noticeable!!

Thanks to Bushtukah Great Outdoor Gear in orleans for helping me decide which shoes to get. Of course they will make 1 min faster in my 5km.... That's what shoes do! Now to get them on the feet and hit the pavement.

Well .... its time to let the cat out of the bag. Short story here..... I have a client who I've been training on a regular basis and she is a cyclist. Runner, and a swimmer. After a couple years I finally got her convinced to sign up for a triathlon. Well, I decided to sign up as well.

I'll be doing the EarlyBird long triathlon at Carleton U in 4 weeks. It's been 35 years since I've been in the water so I figured let's have some fun!!

Does anyone else know who is racing as well ???

Welcome to July!! Monkey Bar Fitness has some new openings!!!!

I've had these spots blocked off in the past but my schedule is now more flexible.

New time spots now available!

6-7am Monday to Friday. (Tues and Thursday are gone)
7-8am Mon,Tue, Friday
2-3pm Monday to Friday
3-4pm Monday to Friday.

There are a couple available spots between 8am-2pm depending on the day.
