Congratulations to the entire Community Stroke Team at Brightshores on being recognized as Healthcare Heroes!! 👏👏👏

This incredible team supports stroke patients after being discharged from the hospital, providing ongoing care, therapy, and encouragement throughout their recovery journey. Their dedication makes a lasting difference not only for patients, but for their families as well.

One grateful family nominated the team in appreciation of the compassionate care they provided to her husband, sharing just how meaningful their support has been during his recovery.

Our community is truly fortunate to have such a committed and caring team. Thank you, Community Stroke Team, for everything you do!

Congratulations to Anne Robertson on being named Senior Volunteer of the Year by the City of Owen Sound as part of the Arts, Culture and Volunteer Awards.

Anne leads with heart in everything she does. Since volunteering to join the Brightshores Owen Sound Foundation Board in 2019, she has given her time, energy, and compassion so generously. Including being Chair of the Brightshores Five Foundations Council. Always focused on making care better for everyone in our community.

Anne’s kindness and dedication leave a lasting mark on those who work alongside her. We are so proud to share this wonderful celebration of Anne and all that she does!

We are thrilled to introduce our new baby recognition wall, “Blooms and Butterflies,” at Brightshores Owen Sound.

This special space honours and remembers babies, while giving back to the incredible nurses and staff who provide care during such meaningful moments. By making a donation to purchase a petal or butterfly, your baby’s name will be added to the wall, with all proceeds supporting the Women and Child Care Unit. The wall is located on the 3rd floor between Labour & Delivery and Women & Child Care.

Petals celebrate new life, while butterflies represent babies held in our hearts forever ❤
