❄️ Winter Weather Cancellation Policy Update ❄️

As we move into the winter months, I want to make sure everyone feels safe, supported, and cared for when it comes to travelling for appointments. Here’s how my cancellation policy will work throughout the snowy season:

✨ A quick note:
It’s very rare that I personally cancel due to weather—I always do my best to remain open and available. But your safety and comfort will always be respected.

✨ If you live outside of Owen Sound:
Your safety comes first. If winter weather makes travel unsafe and you need to cancel same-day, your cancellation fee will be waived. I do kindly ask that you give me as much notice as possible—ideally 24 hours—so someone local may be able to take the appointment.

✨ If you live within Owen Sound:
In my experience, clients who live in town almost always make it to their appointments, even in winter weather. For this reason, my standard 24-hour cancellation policy still applies. That being said, I will always take circumstances into consideration before charging a cancellation fee. Additionally, if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice and I am able to fill your appointment time, the cancellation fee will be waived.

✨ This September was a special milestone for me ✨

On September 30th, I celebrated 15 years as a Registered Massage Therapist, and this month also marks 11 beautiful years of Knots RMT & Wellness. 💚

Over these years, I’ve learned that massage therapy is about so much more than technique. It’s about listening deeply, holding space, and honoring the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Each client I’ve worked with has been a teacher in their own way, helping me grow not only as a therapist, but also as a human being.

This journey has taught me compassion, patience, and the beauty of connection. It has reminded me that healing is not a straight path, but a gentle unfolding—and I’m so grateful to walk alongside so many of you in that process.

As I look ahead, I’m excited for what the next 15 years will bring—new lessons, new growth, and new opportunities to support others in finding balance and well-being. Thank you for being such a meaningful part of this chapter in my life. 🌿

🗓️ How Often Should You Book Your Treatments?

You’ve had your first appointment and are feeling the benefits — now you might be wondering: When should I come back?

At Knots RMT & Wellness, I like to create treatment plans that meet your specific needs rather than a “one-size-fits-all” approach.

✨ For injuries or specific areas of concern:
I typically recommend coming once a week for 4 weeks, then we’ll reassess.
• If we’re still working on the same area but it needs more attention, we may add 2 more weekly sessions.
• Once we see improvement, we’ll move to biweekly sessions for 2 treatments.
• From there, we’ll usually transition into monthly maintenance to keep you feeling your best.

✨ For general tension or relaxation:
If you’re simply looking to unwind or keep stress at bay, a monthly session is often perfect for ongoing care.

This approach allows us to support your body’s healing process while preventing issues from creeping back in — and it helps you feel your best consistently! 💆🏻💫
