My booking system sends waitlist opening notifications to everyone on the list, but unfortunately it cannot differentiate between new clients and existing clients. This means you may receive notifications for openings even though I am not able to take new clients at that time.

If you are a new client waiting to see me, please disregard any waitlist opening notifications that come through the system.

When I am able to welcome new clients into my schedule, I will personally reach out to you directly by email or text message.

Living with a chronic health condition can be exhausting… mentally, emotionally, and physically. You live with something for years, do all the tests, and everything comes back “normal.” Yet the symptoms don’t stop. The frustration rises, your anxiety builds, and sometimes it feels like no one sees the reality of what you’re living with.

It can be even more frustrating when you’re doing everything “right”—exercising, eating well, getting enough sleep, managing stress—and still being affected. People will say, “But you look fine. Everything will be okay.” And inside, all you want is for someone to truly see you, hear you, and understand how alone it can feel in this journey.

I know from my own experience how isolating and overwhelming it can be, and that’s why I built my practice around the way I wish I’d been treated: where your concerns matter, where we listen, where we explore options, provide referrals, and try what we can to give you answers. Because even a little clarity, reassurance, and a plan to move forward can make all the difference.

If you’ve ever felt unseen or dismissed, know you’re not alone—and you deserve to be heard. 💚

I feel so grateful to be see - not just for who I am, but for the practitioner I show up as every day.

When I started in this field, I made a promise to treat others the way I’d want to be treated: fully heard, with a clear plan, honest guidance, and support every step of the way. I truly believe that health and wellness has no limits when you’re determined and working with the right team.

Honesty is the foundation of my practice. If I can’t be honest with you, I’m not doing my job, and I’m not serving your healing journey. I am fully invested in the way my clients feel, because pain and discomfort affect every part of life - and everyone deserves to live their best life while in my care.

Being a practitioner is more than session - it’s phone calls outside of work hours to go over results, texts to guide stretches or exercises, creating step-by-step plans, or simply helping you navigate the next steps in your wellness journey. I take pride in being a voice of reason, empowerment, and support, helping you get the answers, guidance, and care you deserve.

❄️ Winter Weather Cancellation Policy Update ❄️

As we move into the winter months, I want to make sure everyone feels safe, supported, and cared for when it comes to travelling for appointments. Here’s how my cancellation policy will work throughout the snowy season:

✨ A quick note:
It’s very rare that I personally cancel due to weather—I always do my best to remain open and available. But your safety and comfort will always be respected.

✨ If you live outside of Owen Sound:
Your safety comes first. If winter weather makes travel unsafe and you need to cancel same-day, your cancellation fee will be waived. I do kindly ask that you give me as much notice as possible—ideally 24 hours—so someone local may be able to take the appointment.

✨ If you live within Owen Sound:
In my experience, clients who live in town almost always make it to their appointments, even in winter weather. For this reason, my standard 24-hour cancellation policy still applies. That being said, I will always take circumstances into consideration before charging a cancellation fee. Additionally, if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice and I am able to fill your appointment time, the cancellation fee will be waived.

✨ This September was a special milestone for me ✨

On September 30th, I celebrated 15 years as a Registered Massage Therapist, and this month also marks 11 beautiful years of Knots RMT & Wellness. 💚

Over these years, I’ve learned that massage therapy is about so much more than technique. It’s about listening deeply, holding space, and honoring the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Each client I’ve worked with has been a teacher in their own way, helping me grow not only as a therapist, but also as a human being.

This journey has taught me compassion, patience, and the beauty of connection. It has reminded me that healing is not a straight path, but a gentle unfolding—and I’m so grateful to walk alongside so many of you in that process.

As I look ahead, I’m excited for what the next 15 years will bring—new lessons, new growth, and new opportunities to support others in finding balance and well-being. Thank you for being such a meaningful part of this chapter in my life. 🌿
