What’s the best thing I did for my skin this year?
As diligent as I am with my skincare routine (medical-grade products, morning and nighttime steps, SPF always), hands down the best decision I made was doing a CO2 laser treatment.
I’ll be honest… I was nervous. I’d seen the downtime photos, and they looked a little scary. And yes, I didn’t look great those first few days. Honestly, I looked worse than I felt, which was completely fine. I spent a couple of days staying close to home, and not feeling very glamorous. But the results? So worth it.
Waking up and not feeling the need for makeup, just knowing your skin looks great, is such a different kind of confidence. Most days it’s just tinted sunscreen and out the door. My skin feels smoother, firmer, brighter, with that healthy, hydrated glow (even in these cold, dry months). It genuinely feels renewed and refreshed.
