Last night kicked off our first Christmas party of the season at Her Place CoWork — and it was such a fun reminder of how special this time of year feels when people gather together. 🎄✨

If you’re planning a holiday get-together, team party, gift exchange, or cozy girls’ night, our space is available for private evening rentals for just $50/night.

It’s warm, intimate, and perfect for small groups who want something a little different than the usual restaurant setting.

Holiday rentals are now open!!

💌 Send me a message to ask questions or to book your date!

Let’s make this season feel magical ✨

Help Us Decide the Future of Her Place 💭

This month marks 1 year since we opened Her Place — a space we dreamed would become a creative hub for women to gather, connect, and grow.

But instead of celebrating with a bang, we’re sitting with a bit of sadness. The truth is, the idea just hasn’t caught on the way we’d hoped… and we’re now facing the hard decision of whether to keep the doors open.

Working from home is a privilege — but it can also be lonely. One thing I miss most about city life is popping into a coffee shop to work. You’d always bump into someone, share a quick chat, and soak up the energy of others doing their thing.

But here in Oxbow, we don’t even have a coffee shop to do that. So, we created the next best thing — a cozy coworking space built for connection.

And yet… no one is coming.

We all have home offices, but what we were craving was community — real conversation, collaboration, and connection. So we’re asking you honestly:

👉 Do you want that too?
👉 Or did we miss the mark?

If you want to see Her Place stay open, we’d love your feedback.

Please take a few minutes to fill out our survey (link in bio) and tell us how you’d love to use the space.

Let’s figure this out together. 💕

October 2

📍Her Place CoWork

Please RSVP for numbers!!

Why this evening matters:

Midlife is such a unique and powerful season, but it also comes with new challenges when it comes to health and wellness. My goal for this evening is to share ideas, resources, and simple strategies that make feeling good not only possible—but sustainable. I want you to walk away feeling supported, inspired, and encouraged that wellness doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

What you can expect:

We’ll focus on making health and wellness doable during this stage of life—breaking things down into approachable steps, creating space for real conversation, and celebrating the strength and resilience that midlife women carry. Together, we’ll explore ways to feel energized, empowered, and truly at home in your body.

I’m a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, and Level 1 integrative health practitioner. Over the years, I’ve discovered how much I love the innocent and fun energy of young adults—but my true passion lies in helping women feel strong, confident, and energized at every stage of life.

The Red Thread: A pregnancy-centred circle for all stages of motherhood
A sacred gathering for women who are walking, or feeling called to walk, the path of motherhood.

This circle is for you if you are trying to conceive, are currently pregnant, are in the postpartum season, or have walked the mothering journey for years. It’s also open to maidens who feel the pull to witness and learn about the sacredness of this rite of passage.

Together, we’ll gather in sisterhood to share stories, wisdom, and connection. The evening will include:

✨ Spirit baby meditation
✨ Heart-listening with a fetoscope
✨ Mama-to-mama massage exchange
✨ Storytelling
✨ Reflective journaling/creating
✨ Nourishing tea and grounding presence

This is a space to be held, to listen, to feel, and to remember that you are not alone. You are part of a lineage, a red thread, that connects all who birth, nurture, and carry life.

Come as you are. Bring your belly, your longing, your baby, your wisdom.

This time, last summer, we were overhauling a dark and dreary classroom in Oxbow’s old school. 💖

With the work of 2 gals and multiple trips to - we brought our vision of feminine, classic, and cozy vibes to life. (Shout out to the million garage sales we visited too!!) 👯‍♀️

We are thrilled to welcome Scott Perrie to this Friday’s Beans and Beats event! 🎶

Scott Perrie is a one man band; utilizing a loop pedal, harmonica, and his versatile voice, he plays all of his favourite songs by artists like Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Neil Young, James Taylor and so many many more!

Scott Perrie is a seasoned musician, singer/songwriter, and guitarist who has spent the last 20 years carving his own path. He has released multiple albums with different music projects over the years, most recently with Winsome Kind, a folk duo based with his talented wife Leora Joy. Winsome Kind was nominated for a Sask Music Award for Inspirational Artist of the Year 2025 and recently won two EmPower Positive Music Awards for their song “Trail of Love’ and music video “Frequency.”

Scott grew up on the West Coast in the lower mainland, and spent decades performing in the Vancouver scene. He started singing when he was 9 and after inheriting his Grandpa’s Gibson J45 acoustic guitar, he started busking on Granville Island as a teenager. Later on he joined two premiere cover bands (Famous Players & Side One), and then worked as a solo artist for hundreds of weddings, and special events. Scott has been teaching private guitar lessons and practicing massage/bodywork in Alameda, where he and Leora are raising their 3 beautiful kids and growing a big garden.

See you this Friday at 3 PM!! 🎶☕️
