❄️ Well Minto, it looks like tomorrow’s going to be one of those days where winter decides to go for the gold. 🏅
Environment Canada is calling for morning snow squalls followed by a full-blown blizzard in the afternoon—like “can’t-find-your-own-front-step” levels of snow. Winds are expected to gust up to 70–90 km/h, which means anything not nailed down in Palmerston, Harriston, or Clifford may end up taking a little tour of the township. Add wind chills of –20 to –25 and 20–40 cm of snow, and you’ve got yourself a very 🇨🇦 Canadian Monday.
Travel will be rough and might not even be possible, so unless you must head out, tomorrow might be a great day to stay home, stay warm, and pretend not to notice how your driveway is slowly disappearing. And if you do need to be on the roads, pack an emergency kit—and your thermal under garments because no one from Minto travels unprepared. Stay safe, stay cozy, and let’s all hope the forecast is wrong, I mean, unless you love a good old fashioned winter then tomorrow might just be for you. ❄️ ☃️
