Last week, we felt the love all throughout Kingsway Living! ❤️

We had an absolute blast celebrating Valentine’s Day with our residents. From our lively Valentine’s Dance to our sweet Valentine’s Social, there was plenty of music, laughter, and smiling faces to go around. 💃🕺

We were also so fortunate to receive beautiful Valentine’s cards and treats from the wonderful children at Elim’s Children’s Program and Paradise Intermediate. The kindness and creativity from the students truly brightened our residents’ week — thank you for spreading so much joy! 💌

It was a wonderful Valentine’s week here at Kingsway, filled with love, connection, and community. 💕

Our February Activity Calendar is full of wonderful moments for our residents to enjoy! ❤️

This month we’re looking forward to:
⛪ Meaningful Church Services
👶 A sweet Baby Visit (always a favorite!)
🎶 Live Music to sing along to
💃 A fun and lively Dance Class to get everyone moving
🎬 Cozy Movie Days with popcorn and good company

As always, our weekend programs are resident-led and are chosen on a week-by-week basis to reflect their interests and preferences.

February may be chilly outside, but our days are filled with warmth, connection, and smiles. We can’t wait to share all these special moments with our residents this month! 💖

🎉🎶 What a wonderful birthday celebration! We had an amazing time celebrating with Cod Tongue Bys, and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic—full of music, smiles, and great energy. 🎶 Live Music to Start the New Year! 🎶

We were so happy to welcome Cod Tongue Boys to our home as they helped us ring in the new year with live music, laughter, and great energy! Their performance filled our home with smiles, toe-tapping, and plenty of sing-alongs.

A big thank you to the band for sharing their talent and bringing such a wonderful atmosphere to our residents. We are looking forward to many more visits and lots of music-filled moments in the year ahead! 🎸🎤

Our Kingsway Living Christmas Party was one for the books ❤️🎄

With the joy of mummers visiting the home and Santa stopping by to spread some holiday cheer, the night was filled with laughter, smiles, and special moments shared together.

A heartfelt thank you to our photographer for capturing these memories so beautifully, and to the Bill Hynes Band for filling the room with music that truly warmed the heart.

We are so thankful for our volunteers and staff who helped make everything come together and turned this evening into something truly special for our residents — a night they won’t soon forget 🤍✨

🎄 Christmas Outing Plans – Family Reminder 🎄

As the holidays approach, we’re asking families to let us know if you plan on taking your loved one out for Christmas. Knowing which day(s) they’ll be gone and how long they’ll be away helps us prepare medications, meals, and ensure everything is organized for a smooth and enjoyable visit.

✨🎄 Christmas is almost here at Kingsway Living! 🎄✨

Our home is just about fully decorated for the holidays, and it’s looking absolutely magical! A huge thank-you to our very helpful little elves (you know who you are!) who have been busy decking the halls, fluffing the garlands, and spreading Christmas cheer all week long.

The residents are loving the festive spirit, and we can’t wait to enjoy the season together! ❤️🎅🧝‍♀️

🎄💚 A Very Grinchy Visit! 💚🎄

We had a special (and slightly mischievous!) visitor at Kingsway Living today — The Grinch himself stopped by the home!

Our residents had an absolute blast laughing, posing for photos, and reminding the Grinch that Christmas can’t be stolen when there’s this much joy and community in one place. 😉✨

A huge thank-you to The Grinch for spreading holiday spirit in his own hilarious way. Our hearts definitely grew three sizes today! 💚
