🐶 In honour of National Puppy Day, we’re celebrating some of the adorable furry friends who’ve brightened our office this year through our Furbaby Friday initiative!

For a donation, our team gets the chance to bring their dogs to work, bringing joy, wagging tails, and plenty of smiles to the day. Even better, every dollar raised goes directly to the SPCA St.John's and their The Way Home to build a new, modern shelter for animals in need. 🐾

They’re so close to the finish line. The new shelter is nearly complete but there’s one final hurdle: raising the remaining $1.5 million needed to open the doors. This is a call to our community. It was a fantastic morning, and the theme “The Power of Connection” truly came to life through the keynote speakers’ stories. We especially enjoyed the networking hour, connecting with incredible students at all stages of their academic journeys. We hope everyone had a great day. On This Day: Five years ago today, our team welcomed home the CCGS John Cabot. ⚓️🚢
Watching this offshore fisheries science vessel (OFSV) sail through the Narrows was a career highlight for many at Genoa.

The CCGS John Cabot was the third and final ship designed under Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy, marking a major milestone in the program. Its 7,500-nautical-mile journey took it from Seaspan Shipyard in British Columbia, through Panama, and finally to its home port in St. John’s Harbour.

A proud moment for our team and a testament to Canadian shipbuilding excellence!
