Many people recognize that what we eat can influence how we feel, but the connection between food, mood, and overall well-being isn’t always clear. Our nutrition choices and eating patterns can impact our energy levels, emotions, and even how we cope with daily stressors.

This week’s session is focused on food and mood. Together, we’ll explore:

✔️ How nutrition choices and eating patterns can affect our mood and mental well-being.

✔️ The relationship between food, metabolism, and overall health.

✔️ Practical, realistic ways to support mood, energy, and health through nutrition.

sessions are open, supportive, and judgment-free spaces to learn more about wellness and access helpful information. We hope you’ll leave feeling informed, empowered, and supported.

💜 Feb 1–7 is Eating Disorders Awareness Week 💜

This year’s theme, health doesn’t have a look, challenges the idea that thinness = health. Health isn’t defined by size, shape, age, or ability.. it goes deeper than what we see.

🩷Happy Heart Health Month🩷

Nutrition is one of the most powerful tools to protect your heart!

🥦🫘Prioritize Fibre: Choose whole grains, beans, peas, lentils, vegetables and fruit. ➡️Soluble fibre is heart healthy! Find it in oats, oat bran, beans, barley, ground flaxseed, apples, oranges, pears, avocado, and sweet potatoes.

🥑Select Healthy Fats: Use olive, avacodo, or canola oil. Choose nuts, seeds, and include fish high in omega-3 (salmon, mackerel) at least twice a week.

🥩Choose lean cuts of meat or poultry. Limit processed meats like hot dogs, bacon, sausage, and pepperoni!

🧂Shake less, spice more: Herbs, garlic, citrus, and chili = flavor without added salt.
