My 9-year-old daughter stepping into her gift.

Watching her play the Meinl Sonic Energy crystal bowls and my 28” Paiste Symphonic gong with such intuition honestly takes my breath away.

Children carry such pure frequency — I’m so proud of her and had to share this moment with you all. ✨🤍

(If this resonates, please show her some love!)

Sometimes all it takes is a long, honest breath to come back to yourself.

When life feels busy or heavy, pause… inhale… exhale… and let your presence settle you again.

Your breath is your anchor. Your presence is your power. ✨

✨ A Moment of Stillness ✨

Yesterday I spent time connecting with one of my newest instruments — a beautiful metal Tibetan singing bowl that already feels like an extension of my energy. Even though it’s brand new, its vibration settles into the room with such warmth and grounding, almost like it’s been waiting to be played.

There’s something so calming about these quiet moments… the way sound invites you back into your breath, your body, and your inner rhythm. Every time I sit in this space, I’m reminded why I returned to this path — the softness, the clarity, and the healing that unfolds without effort.

As I continue setting up my space in Rosseau, everything feels like it’s aligning again. My bowls, my gong, my breath… all finding harmony.

Thank you for being here as I rise, return, and reconnect.

✨ The Power of Solfeggio Frequencies ✨

Every crystal singing bowl carries its own vibration — a unique frequency that interacts with your energy field and the water within your body. 🌊

The Solfeggio frequencies are a set of ancient tones believed to bring the mind, body, and spirit into perfect harmony. Each one resonates with a specific chakra and emotional center, creating healing through sound and vibration.

🎶 396 Hz — releases fear & guilt
🎶 417 Hz — clears negative energy & promotes change
🎶 528 Hz — the “love” frequency, supports transformation & DNA repair
🎶 639 Hz — fosters connection & harmony in relationships
🎶 741 Hz — awakens intuition & self-expression
🎶 852 Hz — aligns you with spiritual awareness

When played through crystal singing bowls, these tones become more than sound — they become medicine. Each vibration ripples through the nervous system, guiding you toward peace, balance, and a higher state of awareness.

🕉️ Vibration truly is medicine.

Okay… today is the day!! I’ve been waiting so long for this moment — my new sound bowls are officially out for delivery and I’m honestly buzzing with excitement.

These bowls are such a special addition to my sound healing practice — I can already feel their frequency arriving before they even get here.

Breathwork Basics – The Power of Your Breath 💫

In Kundalini Yoga, the breath is your bridge — connecting body, mind, and spirit. Before movement, before mantra, there is prana — the vital life force that flows through every inhale and exhale.

Two foundational breathing techniques in Kundalini practice are:

🌬 Long Deep Breathing (Yogic Breath)
This is the simplest yet most transformative practice.
Breathe deeply into the belly, ribs, and chest — then exhale slowly, completely.
It calms the nervous system, lowers stress hormones, and increases oxygen flow.
It’s known to help release stored emotion and restore balance.

🕉 Alternate Nostril Breathing (Nadi Shodhana)
This practice balances the left and right hemispheres of the brain — the lunar and solar energies within us.
It enhances clarity, focus, and inner harmony.
Use your thumb and ring finger to alternate closing one nostril, inhaling through one, exhaling through the other.
Even three minutes can shift your entire frequency.

When your breath is calm — your mind is calm.
When your mind is calm — your soul can speak.

🪷 Try 3 minutes of conscious breath today and feel the shift.
You are one breath away from peace.

✨ The Kara – A Circle of Strength and Sound ✨

The Kara, or iron bracelet, is more than a piece of jewelry — it’s a symbol of devotion, integrity, and unity.
Traditionally worn in Sikhism as one of the Five Ks, its endless circle represents the infinite nature of the Divine and the reminder to act with truth in all that we do.

I was gifted my Kara the same day I purchased my gong — two sacred instruments that changed the direction of my spiritual journey. The bracelet reminds me of strength and humility, while the gong carries the vibration of transformation and healing. Together, they mark the moment my path toward sound and soul awakening truly began.

It rests on my wrist as a daily reminder: every sound, every action, every thought is energy — and energy is sacred.

✨ The Power of Sound ✨

Everything in the universe vibrates — including you.
Your cells, your thoughts, even your emotions emit measurable frequencies. When those frequencies become irregular or chaotic, we experience imbalance—manifesting as anxiety, fatigue, tension, or disconnection from ourselves and others.

From a scientific perspective, sound healing works through entrainment — the process where rhythmic vibrations synchronize brain waves, heart rate, and respiration with external frequencies. Studies in neuroscience and physics have shown that sound can lower cortisol levels, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and even influence cellular activity.

The gong produces a full spectrum of overtones—rich layers of frequency that vibrate through the body, releasing energetic and emotional blockages. Similarly, crystal singing bowls create pure, sustained tones that correspond to specific chakras and resonance frequencies within the body. These sounds encourage the body to shift from “fight or flight” into “rest and repair.”

When I play, I’m not simply creating music — I’m creating medicine through vibration.
Each tone moves through the water and tissue of the body (remember, we’re 70% water), harmonizing what’s dissonant and awakening deeper layers of peace, clarity, and self-healing.

🕉 Vibration is medicine.
🌕 The sound knows where to go.
💫 You simply have to receive.

✨ Self-Care Saturday ✨

Today’s reminder: You can’t pour from an empty cup. 🌿
Take a moment to slow down, breathe deeply, and return to your center.

Self-care doesn’t always look like spa days or grand escapes — sometimes it’s:
☕️ Sitting quietly with your tea.
🌲 Stepping outside for fresh air.
💧 Drinking water with intention.
🕯 Saying no when your energy says no.

When you pause to nurture yourself, you raise your vibration — and that energy ripples out to everyone around you.

Take care of your energy today. You are your own healer. 💫

✨ My Kundalini Journey ✨

I first came into Kundalini Yoga in 2017, during a deep period of transformation after becoming a mother. Like many women, I had poured so much of myself into caring for others that I started to lose touch with who I was. I was searching for something — not even sure what — just a feeling of connection, peace, and authenticity that felt like home.

I didn’t start Kundalini with the intention to teach. I simply wanted to heal, to grow, and to find myself again. But what unfolded was far beyond anything I could have expected. As I committed to the practice, I began to experience shifts that felt both subtle and powerful — clarity, energy, intuition, emotional release, and a sense of grounding I hadn’t felt in years.

Kundalini Yoga is often called the “yoga of awareness.” It works on awakening the energy that lies dormant within us — the creative, life-giving force that flows through all things. Through breathwork (pranayama), movement (kriya), meditation, and mantra, it helps balance the nervous system, open the heart, and quiet the mind. It’s a practice that heals from the inside out — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

In time, Kundalini became more than just a practice for me — it became a path back to myself. I experienced what I can only describe as a spiritual awakening, a remembering of who I am beneath all the layers of life’s noise and expectations.

It’s what made me a believer.

Kundalini continues to guide me back to my center — to my soul. Every breath, every sound, every vibration is a reminder that healing begins within.

🕉 Kundalini found me when I needed it most, and it continues to lead me home.

🌙 Who Am I

I’m Krysta — a seeker, a mother, a lover of sound and soul. My journey with Kundalini Yoga began in 2018 during a time of deep transformation — a true spiritual awakening. It was then that I felt the call to heal, to rise, and to reconnect with something greater than myself.

Soon after, I found the gong — or perhaps, it found me. Its vibration became my medicine, a sacred sound that guided me back to my truth. I played through joy, through tears, through the mystery of it all.

When my mother passed, I lost a part of myself. The silence that followed felt endless. For a while, I stopped listening — to the gong, to my body, to my spirit.

But life, as it does, brings us home again. Returning to Rosseau has been my homecoming — a space where I can breathe again, soften, and return to the rhythm of my soul. Here, surrounded by nature and community, I’m remembering who I am.

Now, I feel called to share this medicine again — through Kundalini, sound, and sacred vibration. To hold space for others as they awaken, just as I continue to awaken myself.
