This past weekend, was lucky enough to host a Children's Christmas Party! With bouncy castles, ice skating, and even a visit from a certain jolly holiday figure, it was an afternoon of laughs, warmth and fun 🎉🎉🎉

And a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated in WPSHC's Food Donation Drive! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to put together 200 lbs of pantry staples, kitchen essentials, and treats — that too, just in time for Christmas 🎄⛄🎁

On 5 December, the women physicians of Parry Sound got together for a "Shoebox Party," wrapping and donating over 31 boxes of gifts to Espirit Place Family Resource Centre! Not only that, but the physicians also donated over $2,000 of gift cards to the District of Parry Sound Social Services Administrative Board!

A big thank you to everyone who generously donated and supported this meaningful cause!

These holidays, give back to our community and make it a season to remember for everyone here in West Parry Sound. All proceeds from the drive will go toward supporting Parry Sound Harvest Share Community Food Programs. Your generosity will go toward ensuring a yummy Christmas season for all!

Donations will be accepted in the main lobby of WPSHC until the 16th of December.

It's , or International Day for Persons with Disabilities. Falling on 3rd December every year, this is a day to raise awareness of the challenges faced by persons with disabilities and their households in the attainment of their goals.

On this day, it's important to remember that not all disabilities can be seen. Invisible disabilities like chronic pain, mental health conditions, or neurodivergence, can also impact individuals and their access to care, opportunities, resources or equitable treatment. That's why it takes all of us to build an inclusive and supportive culture.
