Life & JL Acupuncture 2.0 ✨

If you saw my update a couple of months ago, you know I’m currently working on completing my Bachelor of Social Work.

I’m excited to share that I’ve officially completed my first practicum! 🥳

I still have one more to go, which means my schedule will be completely closed for May & June. 🥲

Thank you all for your patience and understanding—not just with my limited availability but now my nonexistent one!

I’ll be back in July with a fully open schedule, ready to see new and returning clients. See you then! ☺️

Life and JL Acupuncture update:⁣⁣⁣

You may have noticed my hours have become limited, and finding an appointment time is hard. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Starting in 2025, I had to reduce my work hours because I started my practicums for my social work degree! ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Fun fact, I have been in school for the last 1.5 years, and I’m on the final leg of the journey! ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
This was never a secret, but I also never made it a fully known thing. Essentially, my big dream is to get my Masters in clinical social work and be able to combine my two worlds. Don’t ask me the details yet, I’m still trying to figure that all out 😄. For now, I am here, completing my Bachelor of Social Work. ⁣⁣⁣

I am telling you all this for two reasons. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
1. I will no longer be accepting new clients. Temporary. ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
2. I am beyond grateful for everyone who has allowed me to work with them in their healing journey. I love being your acupuncturist. Thank you for letting me shift and grow with you. ⁣⁣⁣

We are back with another round of acupuncture and yoga nidra.⁣ ☯️🧘🏻‍♀️
⁣
This round we are changing things up a bit, instead of points through out the body we are going to do NADA protocol - auricular (ear) acupuncture. ⁣
⁣
NADA was originally developed to be done in a group setting and is known for regulating emotions, boosting impulse control, relaxing the nervous system, improving sleep, and helping with pain.⁣
⁣
Brings your pillow and blankets and come relax! ✨

Back by popular demand, our SECOND class is now open for booking. Join myself and Jess for a rejuvenating hour of Acupuncture and Nidra. ⁣

We will come together in our most comfortable loose fitting clothing and get cozy with yoga mats, blankets and pillows. Then acupuncture points will be inserted on the lower extremities while Jess will guides everyone through a deeply restorative yoga nidra practice. ⁣

Come relax with Jess and I

We are welcoming in a spring cleaning of the mind, body and spirit with acupuncture and Yoga Nidra combined! ⁣
⁣
What will that look like? ⁣
⁣
Essentially ten individuals will come together in their most comfortable loose fitting clothing and get cozy with their yoga mats, blankets and pillows. Then acupuncture points will be inserted on the lower extremities to help move Qi and regulate the nervous system. Once everyones needles are inserted Jess will guide everyone through a deeply restorative yoga nidra practice and have everyone feeling cool as cucumbers by the end of the session. ⁣⁣
