November 14 is World Diabetes Day — a reminder that small steps can make a big difference in preventing complications.

According to the Public Health Agency of Canada, about 3.8 million people in Canada have a diagnosed form of diabetes (that excludes gestational) — which equals approximately 9.6% of the population.

For those living with diabetes, foot health is especially important.
Nerve damage and circulation issues can make it harder to feel injuries, which is why regular foot checks, proper footwear, and daily inspection are key. 👣💙
