Dr. Wendy Davis ND

Dr. Wendy Davis ND Dr. Wendy Davis ND Dr. Wendy Davis, Naturopathic Doctor has always had a strong belief in health and wellness. What are stressors?

She completed her first degree, Bachelor of Kinesiology at McMaster University, and her second at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. For the past 11 years she has run a family practice based on a commitment to discovering the root cause of her patient’s health concerns, and treating them with various dietary, lifestyle and Naturopathic therapies. Open communication and education are fundamental in her practice as she believes her patients need to take a primary role in their health and healing. In addition to mental health, Dr. Wendy enjoys working with hormonal and digestive concerns, allergies and auto-immune diseases. Dr. Wendy is able to bridge the gap between conventional and Naturopathic medicine and believes that helping her patients regain and maintain their health is the ultimate goal. Practice focus specifics:
•Hormone balance – PMS to peri/menopause, Hypothyroidism and Adrenal fatigue
•Gastro-intestinal health – IBS, heartburn, inflammatory bowel disease and food intolerances
•Allergies and auto-immune health – seasonal and food allergies, arthritis, lupus, cancer etc.

Info about BIE
(Bio-energetic Intolerance Elimination)
aka Allergy treatments

What is Bio-Energetics (BIE)? Bio-Energetics (BIE) is a simple new natural modality that uses a state-of-the-art instrument called the GSR-120 unit that is used to direct energy onto various points on the body to help create a homeostatic state, allowing the body to heal itself, alleviating suffering from identified stressors. Stressors are discordant energies that lead to imbalances in the body creating dis-ease states. Common stressors or stressor type reactions include:
•Food and Environmental Intolerances (Dairy, Gluten, Nuts, Dust/Dust Mites, Pets, Molds, Weeds, Pollens)
•Fatigue – Digestive Issues – Hormonal Disturbances – Sleep Conditions – Behavioral and Emotional Problems

How can BIE help? Once the stressors are identified, the GSR-120 unit is used on various points on the body, allowing the body to heal itself. How many BIE sessions will I need? Generally, it requires only 1 to 4 sessions depending upon the following:
•The amount of bodily toxins
•The strength of the person’s immune system
•The client’s level of hydration
•The stress level of the client

However, several visits may be required to help the body to achieve homeostasis with those who are affected by multiple stressors. Once homeostasis is achieved, there is usually no need for subsequent or yearly visits for the same stressors.

Estrogen is often labeled as a “female reproductive hormone”… but its role in the body goes so much deeper than that.

When estrogen is balanced, it supports:

✨ Brain and mood health
✨ Bone strength
✨ Heart and cardiovascular protection
✨ Skin elasticity and hydration
✨ Vaginal and urinary health
✨ Metabolism and insulin sensitivity

But when levels are too low — or too high — the ripple effects can show up everywhere: mood changes, fatigue, weight shifts, painful cycles, headaches, sleep disruption, hot flashes, and more.

Hormones never work in isolation, and estrogen is one of the key players that influences so many systems in the body.

This is why I always say hormone health isn’t just about periods — it’s about whole-body wellness.

If your body feels “off,” estrogen balance is often part of the story.

01/20/2026

Estrogen is one of the most talked-about hormones… but also one of the most misunderstood.

Most people think of estrogen as a single hormone connected only to the menstrual cycle or puberty — but it’s actually a family of hormones, each playing a different role in the body.

In this video I’m breaking down:
• What estrogen actually is
• The three main forms (Estradiol, Estrone, Estriol….and just to make things interesting I briefly discussed xenoestrogens as well but we will go deeper into that topic another day!)
• Where estrogen is created within the body

This is Part 1 in my estrogen deep dive — Part 2 is coming next where I’ll talk about why estrogen matters far beyond reproduction.

The following tips are shared by Dr. Daria Schaff, ND, to help you feel confident and prepared for your first visit at Harmony Health Clinic.

1️⃣ Complete your paperwork ahead of time
Please fill out your intake forms and any paperwork emailed to you before your appointment. This allows us to review your health history in advance so we can focus on what matters most during our time together.

2️⃣ Gather relevant health information
If you have recent blood work, imaging, or test results, please email them to the clinic ahead of time or bring them with you. This helps provide valuable insight and can prevent unnecessary repeat testing.

3️⃣ Bring a list of medications & supplements
Come prepared with a list of everything you’re currently taking, including doses. This ensures your care plan is safe, appropriate, and well-coordinated.

4️⃣ Be ready to share your story
Naturopathic appointments are thorough, so expect lots of questions. The more openly you can share about your symptoms, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and history, the better we can understand the root causes.

5️⃣ Come with an open mind
Healing often happens through small, meaningful changes. Being open to new approaches can make a big difference, and we’ll work together to find what feels realistic for you.

6️⃣ Check your insurance coverage
We recommend confirming your naturopathic coverage with your benefits provider ahead of time so there are no surprises.

We hope this makes you feel excited and well prepared to get the most out of you first appointment with us, to ensure its a positive experience!

At the end of last year, I did a full review of my pricing compared to other naturopathic clinics across southern Saskatchewan. What I found surprised me — despite my 21 years in practice, continued education, and the scope of care we offer, my fees were still significantly lower than many others. Based on that, I made the decision to implement an increase moving into 2026 — an increase that still kept my pricing below many clinics.

I shared this change transparently, knowing it was a needed business decision as clinic costs continue to rise. But once January arrived, something didn’t sit right.

I found myself questioning whether this change truly aligned with why I do this work in the first place. I know the cost of living in Saskatchewan is rising, and I know that naturopathic care can already feel out of reach for some — even before a price increase. Accessibility matters deeply to me, and I never want finances to be the reason someone feels they can’t seek care.

After a lot of reflection, listening, and honest conversations with myself, I’ve decided to revert my pricing back to the original 2025 rates.

This was not an easy decision. Running a clinic comes with increasing costs, and like many small businesses, we feel that pressure too. I also recognize that there may come a time in the future when prices need to change again. But right now, this decision feels right — because at the core of my practice is care for my patients and this community.

I want my clinic to remain a place where people feel supported, seen, and able to access care — while still running a sustainable, ethical practice. This balance isn’t always easy, but it’s one I’m committed to navigating with integrity.

Thank you for trusting me with your health. Thank you for allowing me to do this work in a way that aligns with my values. And thank you for being part of a community that I care about deeply.

There are seasons in life where everything feels busy, loud, and demanding — and very little feels like it’s just for you.

These meditation sessions with Chandra Beckett, RMT , were created as an invitation to pause. To breathe. To reconnect with yourself in a way that feels supportive, grounding, and nourishing — not another thing on your to-do list.

This isn’t about doing meditation “right.” It’s about giving your nervous system space to settle, your mind permission to slow down, and your body the chance to remember what calm actually feels like. The tools you’ll learn and experience here are meant to support you long after the four weeks are finished — in your sleep, your stress levels, your digestion, your mood, and your ability to show up more fully in your life.

If you’ve been feeling depleted, overwhelmed, or disconnected — or if you’re simply craving a space that feels steady and restorative — this series was created with you in mind.

We would love to hold this space with you.

After the holidays, I often hear people say they feel sluggish, bloated, inflamed, or “off.” And it makes sense.

Weeks of richer foods, irregular meals, less sleep, fuller schedules, higher stress, and maybe a little more sugar or alcohol than usual can all increase the body’s toxic load and slow down our natural detox pathways.

Here’s the most important thing to remember: Your body already knows how to detox, it just needs the right conditions.

Before thinking about supplements, I always encourage starting with the basics:

• Hydration – Water supports the liver, kidneys, and digestion. Start your day hydrated and sip consistently.
• Sleep – Detoxification ramps up while you sleep. Poor sleep = slower cleanup.
• Gentle movement – Walking, stretching, rebounding, or yoga help move lymph and support elimination.
• Whole, simple foods – Focus on protein, fibre, veggies, and bitter foods to support digestion and liver function.
• Reduce stress – Chronic stress diverts energy away from detox pathways and digestion. Even small moments of calm matter.
• Support digestion – If you’re not digesting and eliminating well, detox can’t happen efficiently.

Supplements and herbal supports can be incredibly helpful and I’ve shared a few of my favourites in the graphics, but they work best when paired with intentional lifestyle changes.

Post-holiday detox doesn’t need to be extreme or punishing.
It’s about resetting rhythms, clearing excess, and giving your body space to do what it’s designed to do.

If you’re feeling ready to reset, start gently. Your body will thank you.

Winter invites us to slow down — even when life doesn’t always allow it. With darker days, colder weather, and busy schedules, it’s easy to move through the season feeling disconnected, depleted, or stuck in a winter slump.

Ground & Restore was created as an opportunity to begin the new year with more calm, clarity, and intention — not by adding more to your plate, but by creating space to support your nervous system and overall wellbeing.

Together with chandrabeckett , RMT, We’ll be guiding a four-week meditation series that is both experiential and educational. You’ll be guided through calming meditation practices while also learning how and why meditation supports stress, mood, sleep, digestion, and overall health — especially during our Saskatchewan winters.

This series is an invitation to make yourself a priority, gently and intentionally.
