We have a new teacher!
From the moment we met her, we knew we had to have her 😉. With 40 years experience teaching, a rock solid practice, and a heart of gold, we are thrilled to welcome Jackie to the regular schedule - Fridays @ 9:15am!
Bio:
Jacqueline (Jackie) Leduc, a Fitness and Wellness Professional with more than four decades of experience helping people move, feel, and live better. Since 1981, I’ve blended group fitness instruction, exercise therapy, personal training, wellness coaching, yoga, Reiki/energy healing, and reflexology into a holistic approach that honours one core truth: everybody—and every body—is unique, and my approach to supporting students in feeling strong, grounded, and at home in their bodies is shaped by that truth.
Throughout my career, I’ve taught thousands of classes, coached hundreds of clients, and held leadership roles across the fitness and wellness industry. I’ve served as a Physical Education Director for YMCAs in Montreal and Halifax, Fitness Director at the Ottawa Athletic Club, Regional Director for the Orleans YMCA-YWCA, Fitness Portfolio Specialist for the City of Ottawa, and, most meaningfully, the owner of my own yoga and wellness studio. No matter the role, my aim has always been the same: to create an empowering, fun, safe and inviting environment for people to fall in love with active living and develop a more intuitive and compassionate relationship with their bodies.
Now settled in beautiful Pemberton, I’m grateful to be part of Village Yoga’s warm and welcoming teaching team. My intention is to contribute through collaboration, shared knowledge, and genuine care for student well-being. I look forward to offering classes that complement the studio’s heart-centered atmosphere—inviting strength, play, spiritual development, and embodied connection in ways that feel supportive and nourishing.
