It’s hard to describe the feeling... the feeling you get when you’re floating. Almost as good as dreaming that you’re flying. It had been a while for me. And despite the changes my body went through with pregnancy, I found myself back on the mountain 2 weeks after our daughter was born. I’m grateful for her health and mine. And for a body, although imperfect, that allows me to get back in the saddle this season. Thank you for a great morning! @ Whistler Blackcomb

This guy ... I met him at a work conference exactly 2 years ago in Quebec City. A colleague of ours introduced us and said: « Hey, you guys will get along! You’re both ski patrollers. »
Over the following months, we managed to connect virtually over similar interests but never actually seeing each other as we lived on either side of the country. One Spring day Matt called and said: « I’m going to Iceland for a week and I thought it’d be more fun if you came along » (actually, it wasn’t that nicely put but the intention was there) Strangely, my stupidly busy schedule opened up for that exact week. So, there I was, in Keflavik airport awaiting our first date, a week long road trip around Iceland in a camper van ... I remember thinking to myself « either you’re completely nuts or life as you know it is about to change...»
A few roller coasters later, we find ourselves stronger than ever in a partnership meant to withstand all the storms... so when he asked the question, there was only one answer: YES! From the bottom of my heart, yes!
