Happy Mouthguard Monday ✨

What's a mouthguard?

A mouthguard is a device made from soft plastic that fits comfortably over your natural teeth. Its job is to protect your teeth, lips, cheeks, tongue and you from certain types of concussions.

When should a mouthguard be worn?

You should wear a mouthguard wherever a sport played has a risk of falls or head contact with other players or sports equipment.

Will ALL mouthguards offer the same protection?

No.

A professionally fitted mouthguard will always offer the best protection for your teeth compared to a store-bought mouthguard that can't be closely form-fitted to your mouth.

When does a mouthguard need to be replaced?

As a general rule, besides damage, it is recommended that an athletic mouthguard be replaced every two to three years for adults and every season for children.

What do we have that other denture centres don't?

We have a history of three generations of Denturists pouring into each other. Our business isn't just a 'business' but a family lineage of denturists. We love what we do so much that our love for dentures keeps getting passed down! 🤍
