It's time for another group HypnoBirthing® session!

I currently only run 4 group sessions per year with 5 seats available (one couple equals one seat).

Group sessions are offered over zoom, therefor I can reach other people who do not live directly in the Okanagan region. Yay!

If you would like more information before committing to signing up, we can do a FREE consultation so that you can understand what the class is all about.

Only a 50% retainer fee is required in order to hold your spot, and the rest isnt due until after the first class.

I teach more on the importance of not birthing on your back in my HypnoBirthing class.

Posted • Do you ever remember learning about birth in school or seeing birth in films or on TV?

The classic picture of a woman lying on her back in hospital, screaming in pain, being ‘assisted’ normally by a white, male doctor….

YEP.

That is called conditioning my friend, Some people are shocked to hear this is not how birth has to be, it’s how we’ve been to conditioned to believe it should be.

Terrifyingly if is seen as normal in our culture for women to birth in this way, on their backs AND I call BULLSH*T…

I’ve taught this HypnoBirthing course consistently for almost a year now. And every time parents come to me feeling anxious about their upcoming birth.

Not always. Some come to me feeling excited but still a bit nervous and unsure what to expect.

Often times they doubt that it’s possible for them to have calm births like the many videos I show.

But as each class comes and goes, they start to relax more and more.

They start to get more excited.

They start to get more confident.

They start to feel more prepared.

They really do start to believe that they can have a calm birth, too.

That’s my goal.

There are a lot of options out there to “get things moving” when it comes to labor.

The most assured way to not fall into the “cascade of interventions” is to not accept any in the first place.

Labor and childbirth has a natural flow and when interrupted it can cause things to go wrong most of the time.

If you want to learn about options to hurry up and get that baby out or to speed up your labor possibly causing , , needed , decels and and higher chances of your baby needing to be resuscitated… then move along because this is not the for you.

But if you want a childbirth class that will teach you:

👉what natural labor is supposed to look like
👉what can happen with interventions being introduced
👉how to prevent interventions
👉how to prevent pelvic floor damage
👉how to prevent fetal distress
👉how to advocate for yourself
👉how to birth confidently in calm and peace and feeling joy and excitement
👉how to make informed decisions 👉how to say no
👉how to listen to your body and your baby
👉how to birth instinctively
👉the true signs that might be telling you to seek medical attention
👉how to tell when you’re in true labor
👉how to breathe your baby down rather than strain yourself with exhaustive forced pushing
