This week we have 4 Shoulder Diagonal exercises. You can do these with a cable weight machine or elastic exercise bands. These exercises are great for strengthening the shoulders as well as the core muscles. You can pick one and do it for a few weeks then switch to one of the other exercises. Another option is to do one set of each exercise.
These exercises would be a good progression from the rotator cuff exercises once your shoulders are pain free.
Next week we will add a couple of variations of these exercises for you golfers and softball players.

This week Debbie is demonstrating balance exercises on a BOSU ball which is a basically half an exercise ball with a flat platform. If you do not have access to a BOSU ball you can use a number of different balance devices. Remember to be safe and have an exit plan if you lose your balance. This will allow you to challenge your balance without risking injury.

Remember, to improve your balance your need to challenge your balance. Choose an exercise that you can do with minimal hand support. Be safe, be creative, and have fun!
