Our annual “Shed the Light on Addiction” campaign is officially underway! 💡💛

Join us this Friday, November 21, 9:30am - 5:30pm at Cherry Lane Mall as we kick off our 2025 events by selling lights in honor of those we’ve lost and those who are still struggling with addiction.

Every light is a reminder that no one fights alone. By taking part, you’re helping our community raise awareness, support healing, and break the stigma surrounding addiction.

We hope to see you this Friday—and at more Shed the Light events across the community in the coming weeks. Thank you for standing with us.

You can’t pour from an empty cup, or live well on an empty plate. Recovery is about more than leaving old habits behind. It’s about learning how to build a life that feels steady, healthy, and full of purpose.

Our Food Security Program helps men in recovery reconnect with the basics of how to nourish themselves, budget wisely, grow their own food, and prepare meals that support both their health and their healing.

Through nutrition classes, gardening, food preservation, and meal prep, clients learn practical skills that carry them far beyond treatment. It’s about building a foundation for life. One rooted in confidence, independence, and long-term recovery.

The numbers say it all. “Young people aged 15–24 are more likely to experience mental illness or substance use challenges than any other age group.”

It’s a powerful reminder that conversations about mental health and addiction can’t wait, especially when young people are trying to find their way in a world that doesn’t always make it easy to ask for help.
Join us in creating space for honest conversations and better support, because early connection can change everything.💭

Today, we pause to remember.

To honour the courage that stood tall when fear was loud.
To remember the lives that were given so others could live free.
To carry forward the strength, the resilience, and the hope that peace is worth fighting for.
Time may pass, but remembrance doesn’t fade.

Lest we forget. 🌺

When recovery shows up, it doesn’t claim you’ll be perfect. It promises you’ll be present. You might stumble. You might question the path. But showing up counts. Every. Single. Time. Because the person who arrives today is building something the struggles of yesterday couldn’t break. Your story isn’t over. It just found a better chapter.
