You’re someone who cares deeply — about truth, growth, integrity, and being of service in the world. You’re overwhelmed trying to manage your own ‘stuff’ while keeping afloat with self-care, tending to complex relationships, and moving toward your heart’s creative dreams. You’re feeling emotionally off. And though you can probably name the issue, you can’t seem to shift it on your own. The pattern keeps returning, and you’re starting to feel like you’re going nowhere. You want to feel better, about yourself - and your situation. You want to become the highest version of you! But right now it seems like you aren’t… and you don’t. The problem isn’t a lack of effort, but that you’ve not yet fully connected with some aspect of yourself — especially the parts you judge, ignore, hide, or misunderstand — and given them the emotional understanding and compassion they need in order to shift. ✨FEELING BAD TO FEEL BETTER ✨

So often the reason we subconsciously numb emotion is because we don’t want to feel the pain. But emotional pain is actually so much greater when we stuff it.

What we sacrifice to avoid a few moments of intensity can be days or weeks of flatness and disconnection, heavy moods, irritability, even draining physical symptoms caused by the suppression of feeling in the body.

Similar to ‘getting over the hump’ when we start to exercise, we just need to muster a bit of courage to ‘enter in’ to a numb or unpleasant feeling. As soon as we do, movement begins, and while it can be painful at first, notice that it’s also immediately relieving.

What was stuck inside you is starting to leave, the pressure is easing, the light of truth is entering in, and truth is deeply relaxing.

Stay focused on the relief it brings!

✨ A PATH OF SELF-UNDERSTANDING ✨

Sometimes the most difficult thing about coming to terms with a deeper personal issue that’s keeping us stuck is the subconscious judgment we’re holding toward ourselves.

While our conscious intent to break through may be clear and strong, the parts of us just below full awareness that feel wrong or bad or inadequate or out of integrity can hold us back, preventing us from understanding the truth about ourselves and a situation, and dissolving the emotional pain that would set us free.

The reflections of others often mirror the suppressed shame and judgment back to us, causing us to want to hide or resist it further.

But the shame isn’t based on anything real: it’s a misunderstanding. Even the darkest and most ‘flawed’ aspects of our character have often become so for innocent reasons, knowing no other way at the time.

Knowing this, we can enter into our own depths with eyes open, grow in self-compassion, and shift how we feel about ourselves, moving forward with clarity. ✨✨✨

✨RECONNECTING TO YOURSELF ✨

Can you relate to this? It’s so easy to become distracted by the external circumstances of our lives - even after years of doing inner work - and temporarily forget that the changes we seek begin as an inside job.

Even if we’ve already been chipping away at something internally, working hard to clear old feelings or patterns, it’s so natural and so human to struggle seeing ourselves with clarity.

Despite knowing this, it’s really easy to lose sight of. We start spinning our wheels in frustration and self-blame, when the very part that holds us back just needs us to slow down, breathe, and look inward.

Once we look we can feel, and once we feel - we can set ourselves free. ❤️

Can you relate to this? It’s so easy to become distracted by the external circumstances of our lives - even after years of doing inner work - and temporarily forget that the changes we seek begin as an inside job.
