Kim Taylor from .ottawamassagetherapy is joining the Perth crew! Give a warm small town welcome to this amazing RMT.

Kim has been practicing for over 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge, trust, and experience to the therapeutic treatment. With a yoga background and training in trauma, Kim integrates body and mind into her massage approach.

Our clinic director Emilie McKay made the trek to Queen’s Park this week to advocate on behalf of RMTs with our association

Their message included three main asks
➡️ Help efforts to remove HST from massage therapy services
➡️ Remove the third party signature requirement for motor vehicle forms
➡️ Include RMTs in family health teams

The underlying theme: RMTs are regulated health professionals - treat us like it.

We are delighted to hear that a private members bill to have an official Massage Therapy day was tabled during her visit.

Emilie had the pleasure of meeting with NDP health critic France Gelinas, Liberal Ottawa South MPP John Fraser, Conservative MPP Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston John Jordan and others to discuss these issues.
