I’m excited to announce that Peterborough West Acupuncture will now be offering Acupuncture treatments at Active Living Physiotherapy located at 745 Lansdowne Street West.

Active Living physiotherapy is a clinic that aligns with my values as a practitioner who strives to provide the best treatments to allow people to meet their wellness goals.

New and returning patients are welcome! I will be at this location Tuesdays and Thursdays. Book online at Peterborough West Acupuncture.

Hello Everyone!

Hope you had a great summer and are ready to welcome the fall season.

Fall is a season of transformation. What a perfect time to welcome change once again.

The year has presented me many life-changing events. Some so joyful, some were crazy stressful and some down right heartbreaking.

As we enter the change of season I now feel renewed and energized. I have channelled this energy into becoming a better practitioner. I will be focusing on learning new techniques and finding ways to improve healing for my patients.

Some of our changes will involve a future relocation of the clinic. In the meantime, I will still be operating business as usual at the current location plus I have added an additional location at Active Living Physiotherapy on Landsdowne Street.

It’s our mission to find tranquility and peace for our next home. I look forward to seeing you there too. ❤️

Our hearts are broken to announce the passing of our sweet girl Scarlett. She was the best clinical assistant I ever had. She would greet the patients each visit and enjoyed many pats and treats.
We were blessed to be rescued by her 13 years ago. She has given our family so much love and joy. She will be greatly missed. ❤️

Life After Stroke Peterborough is a community organization assisting Stroke Survivors. This program offers Peer Support as well as education for survivors to continue living a quality life.
The volunteers work hard to bring this amazing program to the community.

Good afternoon everyone!! 😊

Here’s an update…..I’m getting back on two feet!! 👣
Lots of physio, hard work and persistence are taking place this last week since I have been given the go ahead from the surgeon to begin weight bearing.

I am looking forward to getting back to the clinic in November. 🙌🎉
Appointments are now available online.

Many thanks to everyone for the messages, visits and wow….the meals!!

We are so grateful to have such a wonderful supportive community of amazing people surrounding us. ❤️🥰

A message from the Acupuncturist turned patient!! 🚑

The view from room this past week and until I leave……☀️

You know that saying “when life hands you lemons - you make lemonade?”
Well…I’ll making lots of lemonade in the weeks to come. 🍋🍋
(I’ll just need Tony to go get the lemons 😉)

I have suffered a freak accident that landed me in the hospital with major surgery and have temporarily lost my mobility. 🩼👩‍🦼‍➡️🤕

The clinic will be closed during my recovery and rehabilitation.

My sincere apologies to my patients for the interruption in your care. I will be contacting each of you once I can get back home and access my clinic records.

I will be working very hard using the amazing tools we have from modern and traditional medicine like OT, Physio, Acupuncture and Light therapy to recover fully and be back to work soon.

Once again I have learned….don’t take anything for granted, even the simple things like the sunrise in this picture. 🌅

I thank everyone who has reached out with kind messages. I am grateful. It will keep me going during this long difficult journey. ❤️
