We have another wildlife sighting from Richard to share!

A ring-necked duck, floating along the Otonabee. It is a North American diving duck that prefers shallow freshwater ponds, lakes and marshes. Known for its distinctive peaked head and white banded grey bill.

What a sight! 📸

Our kitchen tour was a big success, residents learned not only where and how the food is kept and prepped but as well as all the new renovations and equipment we have added to our kitchen!

Special thank you to our Dining Service Supervisor Mary for not only showing us the kitchen but preparing a special treat for the end! 🍪
