🍂✨🍂Do you honour your ancestors at this time of year?
🍂✨🍂I find the veil extra thin through the latter 'Ber' months, including Stag Night, All's Hallow Eve, All's Hallow Day, Canada's Remembrance Day, and sometimes up through the winter holidays. While my natural connection to my 'Team Up There' is strong all year, I tend to feel an extra tug to extend my heart to my ancestors during this stage of Nature's yearly cycle.
🍂✨🍂Perhaps your custom is honoured through a culture like the Día de Mu***os in Mexico, the Double Ninth Festival in China, the Guatemalan Festival de Barriletes Gigantes, or La Calabiuza in El Salvador.
🍂✨🍂For myself, I tend to practice my holy days on my own, this year with a new area in my home dedicated to those who have gone before me, to the knowledge and freedoms that have been sacrificed for and passed down, and to Mother Nature who supports all of life and death. I feel very grateful for what I have and the lessons learned along my path.
🍂✨🍂I would not be where I am without my ancestors, known and unknown.
