🎁✨ Fun fact: Unwrapping gifts isn’t just exciting — it actually supports bilateral coordination and fine motor skills for people of all ages!
Tearing paper, peeling tape, holding the box steady… it’s a full little workout for your hands (and honestly, a very satisfying one).

It’s joyful, skill-building, and a great sensory moment for everyone!

The only not-so-fun part? Tossing out all that beautifully wrapped hard work you spent way too long perfecting 😅💙

✨ Tip Tuesday ✨
With winter break around the corner, routines are about to shift — and for many neurodiverse kids, that can feel big.

Instead of aiming for a perfect schedule, try creating simple daily anchors:
✔️ a calm morning start
✔️ built-in movement or sensory play
✔️ a predictable wind-down at night

These gentle touchpoints give the day shape, support regulation, and help everyone feel a little more grounded — even when plans change.

Winter break doesn’t have to mean chaos. A few OT-informed strategies can make this season calmer, more connected, and more enjoyable for the whole family.
