✨ Honouring generosity on National Philanthropy Day ✨

Today, we celebrate a remarkable gift from the Rogers family and Keint-he Winery and Vineyards, who have donated $10,000 to support the future of health care in Prince Edward County.

Rooted in the County since 2007, Keint-he Winery honours the land, its history, and the community that inspires their work. Their generosity will help ensure our Care Champions have the equipment and technology needed to deliver exceptional care close to home.

“We live in a place where people show up and help each other,” said Bryan Rogers, co-owner of Keint-he. “That’s a community worth supporting.”

When our country needed heroes, Canada’s veterans answered the call. Every November 11th, we pause as a nation to remember their service.

Today, Foundation volunteers will honour their courage and sacrifice at the ceremonies happening at our County cenotaphs in Picton, Wellington and Consecon.

Thank you to our local Royal Canadian Legion branches for all their work on the poppy campaign and for organizing today’s events.

💙 Celebrating Our Incredible Volunteers 💙

This past weekend, we had the honour of celebrating the extraordinary members of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary at their Volunteer Appreciation Event held at Prince Edward Yacht Club.

For more than 90 years, the Auxiliary has been a cornerstone of care in our community — contributing over $3.4 million to support vital medical equipment and hospital redevelopment.

This year, their fundraising is helping to purchase a new echocardiogram machine, bringing clearer images and faster diagnoses for patients of all ages. 💓

Beyond their fundraising success, our Auxiliary volunteers bring warmth, compassion, and dedication to every corner of the hospital. From greeting patients and families to organizing beloved events like the upcoming Festival of Trees, their impact reaches far beyond the walls of the hospital.

We were also thrilled to celebrate Care Champion Helen Hotston, honoured through a special gift from an anonymous donor. Helen’s kindness, dedication, and generosity have touched countless lives. Over 23 years, she’s made 158 gifts to support our hospital — an incredible legacy of compassion and community spirit. 🌸

Thank you to all our volunteers for everything you do. You are the heart of our hospital! 💙

Today, Tara Wilkinson and Andrew Csafordi, Co-Owners and Artists at ANDARA Gallery are proud to announce that their beloved annual "HOLIDAY PHOTO IN THE BARN" program will be transitioning over to The Eddie Farm & Hotel for the 2025 Holiday season … and beyond.

What began as a way to bring isolated people together safely to make cherished holiday memories during the Covid pandemic … grew over 5 years resulting in over 3,000 people (and countless pets) being photographed at ANDARA Gallery’s annual “Holiday Photo in the Barn” event … raising over $35,000 for the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation.

We have loved every minute of our five years hosting this special holiday fundraiser! The program has grown so much and now requires more energy and resources. We couldn’t be more thrilled to hand the reins of this beautiful annual tradition over to the stewardship of Alex Portman and Michael von Teichman at The Eddie Hotel and Farm … the epitome of “Christmas in the County”. We know their team will do a great job continuing this treasured tradition for County residents and visitors in support of our beloved hospital. Thank you to each and every visitor who came for a HPIB these past five years. It was truly an honour to help you make memories with your family, friends, colleagues and pets!

We will continue to focus on creating, exhibiting and selling contemporary fine art paintings, photography, digital art and ceramics year-round from our colourful ANDARA Gallery - named one of Ontario’s Top 10 Best Art Galleries by TripAdvisor earlier this year. Our upcoming holiday art show and sale, “LUMINOUS” will run November 15th through December 6th and December 16th to 23rd from 11 AM to 5 PM.

The 6th Annual “Holiday Photos at The Red Barn” will take place at its new location, The Eddie Hotel and Farm at 15786 Loyalist Parkway (between Bloomfield and Wellington) in Prince Edward County … Thursdays through Sundays between Noon and 6 PM starting on Thursday, December 4th and running through Sunday, December 21st, 2025.

You can now book your photo time slot for this year's "Holiday Photos at The Red Barn" online at www.theeddie.ca/holiday-photo-in-the-barn. All donations will continue to be in support of our beloved PEC Memorial Hospital Foundation's "Back the Build" campaign.

The results are in, and it was a swinging success! ⛳

The inaugural Partners in Pink Golf Tournament raised $64,000 in support of the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation!

Breast cancer touches so many lives — and hearing the heartfelt stories of why people chose to play for the cause made the day even more meaningful. 💗

Funds raised will help purchase a new digital mammography machine for the new County hospital — an essential tool for early breast cancer detection.

Thank you to our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who made the day unforgettable. Together, we’re helping ensure the best care is available close to home.

C'mon PEC! Let's come together to raise some funds for our new hospital!

We are excited to announce that we are partnering with Tim, of Bsst Total Auto, to raise some funds for the new hospital. Tim was very gracious in donating these two pieces of artwork that he painted himself. Starting tomorrow (Tuesday, October 28th) we will be selling $2.00 tickets at each of our tills for two weeks with all proceeds going to the new hospital. We will draw our winners on Tuesday November 10th and will announce the winners on Facebook.
