There will be a Virtual Urgent Care clinic at the Second United Baptist Church NG on Thursday, April 30th between 10:30am and 2pm.
Bring your NS Health Card!

There will also be an Emotional Wellness Counsellor on site as well.

April 28: We are hosting a Seniors Health and Wellness Session in Garden of Eden, so will not be available for appointments
April 29: At Pictou County Kids First, Provost St., New Glasgow, 10am-2pm
April 30: At Second United Baptist Church with Virtual Urgent Care 10:30-2pm
May 1: At the CHC, 9am-12pm and 1-4pm

🌱 **FREE Farm Food Support – Limited Spots Available!** 🌱

SchoolsPlus Pictou County West, in partnership with Small Holdings Farm, is offering a limited number of **FREE farm credit spots** to help families supplement their meals from July to October 2026🥕🥬

Participants will receive farm credit to use at their own pace throughout the season—until funds run out or the farm closes for the season. Available goods often include fresh vegetables, and in some seasons, cheese, milk, and eggs 🧀🥚🥛

This program is made possible through the incredible generosity of farm customers and community members—thank you for supporting local families!💚

This opportunity is intended for families who could benefit from a little extra support—not only those facing urgent food insecurity. With rising food costs affecting so many households, we hope this program can help ease the pressure.

Because spots are VERY limited, a short application with a few questions will help us share this resource as fairly as possible.
