SEMS--Special Events Medical Services offers professional on-site medics for any type of public or private event such as Canada Day and Quebec's Fête Nationale festivities, sporting, community events and company functions. Our medics are certified Paramedics, Emergency Medical Responders, First Responders and Nurses who are experienced and skilled in patient assessment, stabilization, treatment and preparation for transport to hospital. We have all the necessary medical equipment and supplies available to deliver the highest quality of care on scene. Our Medics are equipped with Automated External Defibrillators, Oxygen, Trauma Kits, patient immobilization and transport equipment
For larger events we conduct our operations from a designated area where a first aid tent is set up complete with banners and other signage for easy identification. Our team uses radio communication and at times medical mountain bikes for patrolling the grounds of the event. We keep records by completing PCRs--Patient Care Reports for all treatment provided. In addition to covering special events, our sister company Formations Premiers Soins Coeur Atout provides CPR and First Aid training and re-certifications for all levels. Our instructors have many years of teaching experience and are certified with the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. We offer on-site training for groups or one-on-one training to individuals. We provide all training equipment and materials.
