Ontario and Manitoba both train Pharmacists to provide a host of primary care services to folks in need. The goal is to allow people to get the care they need, when and where they need it – especially right now when there is a shortage of primary care providers (like family doctors, etc.). The difference is that Ontario actually allows its Pharmacists to use all their training to help people, while Manitoba severely restricts Pharmacists in Manitoba. Why is Manitoba lagging behind when people need care?
