Notification: If you need to cancel your scheduled appointment, please call at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will allow another patient to access timely medical care. First No-Show: The first time there is a no-show, we will send a reminder to the contact details on file, letting you know about the missed appointment and the importance of timely cancellation. Subsequent No-Shows: If a second no-show occurs within a 12-month period, a $100 fee may be charged to your account. Insurance does not cover this fee and must be paid before your next appointment. Exceptions: We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances occur. If you can't make your appointment because of an emergency, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust the charges accordingly. Appointment Reminders: As a courtesy, Pincher Creek Medical Clinic will send a reminder for your appointment via [text/email/call] [24/48] hours before your scheduled time. Please ensure your contact information remains up to date. Thank you for being a valued patient and for your understanding and cooperation as we institute this policy. This policy enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of medical care. We understand that unplanned issues can arise, and you may need to cancel an appointment. If that happens, we respectfully ask for scheduled appointments to be cancelled at least one business day in advance. Our doctors want to be available to meet your needs and the needs of all our patients. When a patient does not show up for an appointment, another patient loses an opportunity to be seen. Although we have always had a cancellation policy, circumstances have caused us to enforce a policy of charging for no-show appointments and appointments not cancelled within 24 hours and if you arrive too late to be seen. As of February 1st, 2024, a fee of $100.00 will be assessed if we do not receive a call to cancel an appointment. “This fee is NOT covered by insurance.”
