I'm not JUST a doula.

I love birth work.👣 I love helping new mothers find their footing as they navigate uncharted territory with their newborn. A part of me was always meant to be a safe place for women whether that is a hip squeeze, newborn care, or being that shoulder to cry on when life gets too hard.

I love teaching. 📝 I get so excited when I show expecting parents their options, how to navigate the hospital system, and or course, how to utilize all the baby gear. This is the part I became passionate about first. Being that support in a period that fails them and leaves them isolated.

I love coaching. 🔥 Not about birth. Not about the baby. But about the woman. What is going on in her mind and body as she struggles to find herself within a part of her identity that takes control. Mothering. It's beautiful. Hard. Exhausting. And rewarding, but it's not your entirety. You are more than just a mom and I LOVE to help you find yourself. All. Of. Yourself.

So yes, I am a doula and when you hire me you get that and so much more.

Why are my prices low?

Because our medical system is failing our women.

Because our economy is not at its best, but that doesn't mean our women don't deserve support.

Dear doula,

We see you...

on those late night drives back home when your heart is pounding and you are so filled to the brim with adrenaline due to proxy-oxytocin you feel like you’ll burst.

Dear doula,

We see you...

when your plans are changed last minute again because babies don’t have calendars, and you miss yet another family dinner because you love to selflessly serve pregnant mamas.

Dear doula,

We see you...

as you wake up in the morning completely sore from 18-hours straight of hip squeezes and counter pressure because you would do anything to make her laboring easier.

Dear doula,

We see you...

while you cry in the shower trying to process when trauma and heartbreak happen and you had a front row seat but couldn’t do anything to stop it.

Dear doula,

We see you...

and we applaud you. Your servant’s heart and selfless devotion do not go unnoticed, and as long as we are around we will be giving you the recognition you deserve!

Hello all you lovely people!

Guess who decided to sign up for a course on the Polyvagal theory and how to use it as a S*x & Relationship coach?

Yup. I did it. The one who is launching a book and maintaining her favourite business as a doula.

The polyvagal theory focuses on how to guide clients when their nervous systems are stuck in one of the three physiological states/responses: social engagement, flight or flight, and freeze (shutdown).

This course will give me the tools to provide insight, guidance and the right tools to help a client navigate their anxiety, stress, survival mode, and trauma when talking is simply not enough.

As we all know birth is beautiful, but it can also be quite scary just as everyone’s s*xuality is unique and diverse. Both deserve the respect and attention so you can be confident in all areas of your life. I am soo excited to take this and I cannot wait to see where it will lead me.

Did you know I am expanding my knowledge to S*x & Relationship Coach?

For funsies I took a little quiz to see what kind of coach I hope to become and if you know me this hit the nail on the head. Perfectly.

As a doula I have seen women in their most vulnerable times, have picture on my phone or mucus plugs, placentas, birth in it's raw form you name it.

As a friend. I am always curious and encouraging my friends when they open up about their s*x lives. I don't shy easily from any topic and if you know you know. 😉

It's been a dream of mine for the past year and a half to pursue this rich and diverse field to help women reignite their passion and s*xuality within themselves and of course their partners.

Growing and birthing a baby is hard work on every aspect for a woman that it leaves her exhausted and a little burnt out. The first weeks are a blur as she heals and learns on the job of how to be a confident parent.

This doesn't give her much time or energy to focus on her needs let alone her s*xual needs. The desire for intimacy gets put on the back burner along with so many other things that once was a priority.

Sound familiar?

What if you want to spark that passion back to life, but don't know how? Maybe you have desires, but society's judgmental voice tells you that it's taboo?

Yes, you are a mother, but you are also a s*xual being. You are allowed to be s*xy, confident, and explorative with your body and of course your partner. Period

I am here for you whether that's in person or virtually we can find that goddess within and give you back the power.

Living in the rural and vast lands of northern Alberta many women and their families miss out on some of the amazing services that are available in major cities. Most have to travel hours at a time for their prenatal appointments and advanced care.

It was such a pleasure meeting up with her for our Interview with a Coffee ☕ and getting to know just how powerful this woman is.

Her birth wasn't what she had hoped, but her "inner warrior" found strength and courage. She sought help when she needed it and has the most badass attitude I have ever met! 😎

A part of my service as a Placenta Encapsulator are my weekly check ins to see how you, the mother, are managing your new life with a newborn.

I check in on your physical health and how the capsules are treating you. If there is something that needs adjusting and how you are healing from your birth.

I check in on your mental health and look for any signs of postpartum depression or anxiety. I offer encouragement, tidbits of information when needed and most of all my unconditional support.

It has been bittersweet not chatting with this mama every week as she flourishes into a confident and wonderful mother for her little boy.

I am so proud of all the work she continues to pour into herself and the strength needed to look ahead to better days. You are a warrior mama and I look forward to the random messages of how your life is going. 🫶🏻🫶🏻
