JoAnne Oswald JoAnne Oswald Independent Associate of the Super Patch company. I would love to share some information about my life. Now, we have 7 lovely grandchildren.

I was born and raised on a farm and love country living. At the age of 11, I was babysitting 3 kids . At the age of 15, I worked as a telephone operator in a small rural village where I grew up. Then, I worked my way through Gr. 12 and 2 years of university at a home for boys in Winnipeg and could only come home by bus once a month. These were children who had been removed from unsafe homes due to alcohol, drugs or abuse. I got married my best friend, Ken, who was a farmer, and taught for 25 + yrs and subbed for 10 years. In the meantime, we had 3 lovely children, 1 boy and 2 girls. Plus, 19 months ago, I took in a stray kitten and she is now our baby. I did Adult Education Upgrading for 3 years on a reserve, when my youngest was able to attend nursery school. I also worked as a Teaching assistant for 2 yrs. I could be home when our children arrived off the school bus. I was active member in our church and community where we lived. I taught Catechism. I was President of the Catholic Women's League, and our local Women's Legion Auxiliary in our rural area for several years. I was secretary for the Seniors club for 7 years. FAst forward to my retirement. I felt something was missing in my life. I decided to put my skills to work with a Home based business in Wellness just over 4 years ago. The reason I joined was that their products changed my entire life around. I became pain free for the first time in over 28 years. It felt like I had been given a second chance to live. My passion and obligation was to share this technology with anyone and everyone I met. I didn't want other people to suffer like I did for so many years. My goal was to help them achieve an active lifestyle. I have a 4 year degree in Education. I took multiple courses along the way in teaching, farming and business. These are some of the names I learned from after retirement: Ray Higdon, Eric Worre, Helen Martin, Olivia Anderson, Pete Vargas and many others. I have always felt it is important to learn and share with others. Planting the seeds is key. Gratification of helping others means the most to me! So, if at any time, I can be of assistance, please just reach out to me. I look forward to meeting you and making a meaningful connection.

Ah, the blissful haven of a good night's sleep πŸŒ™βœ¨. It's not just about catching Z's but a critical pillar of health that too often, we find ourselves compromising on. With our lives getting busier by the day, skimping on sleep has almost become a badge of honor. But at what cost? Today, let's unravel the profound importance of a solid night's sleep and how neglecting it can lead us down the path of chronic health issues including, but not limited to, debilitating pain.

First off, sleep is the foundation upon which our body repairs itself. Imagine your body as a smartphone; just as the device needs to be charged, your body needs sleep to recharge. Lack of sufficient sleep acts like a glitch in the system, leading to a domino effect of health problems. Initially, it might just manifest as irritability or a foggy brain, but over time, continued sleep deprivation can contribute to more severe conditions such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and even depression.

Moreover, the connection between poor sleep and chronic pain is a vicious cycle. Poor sleep can lower your pain threshold, making any existing pain feel worse, thus making it harder to sleep – a true catch-22 situation. Coupled with an increased risk of inflammation, the body’s response to injury or stress is exacerbated, potentially speeding up the wear and tear on our bodies. This aspect alone underscores the crucial need for quality rest to maintain our health and wellbeing.

However, when faced with sleep challenges, many quick-fix their way to the pharmacy aisle. While medication may offer temporary relief, it's akin to putting a band-aid on a bullet wound if the underlying issues are not addressed. This is where the magic of natural remedies comes into play. From establishing a calming pre-sleep routine that may include meditation or reading, to optimizing your sleep environment with a cool, dark, and quiet atmosphere, the focus shifts to treating the root cause rather than merely the symptoms.

In wrapping up, let's not underestimate the power of those precious hours under the covers. Embracing healthier sleep habits and exploring natural methods to improve sleep quality isn't just about eliminating the risk of potential diseases or chronic pain. It's about enhancing the quality of our lives, enriching our daily experiences with clarity, vitality, and joy.
After all, a well-rested you is the best version of you. So, tonight, as you prepare for slumber, remember: your health and happiness literally depend on a good night's sleep.

Mondays have long been the arch-nemesis of many, often daunting with their promise of a new week filled with challenges and to-dos. However, for some, the challenge is not just about facing a new week but doing so while battling persistent pain. It's an uphill battle, but what if we could view Mondays as a chance to reignite our spirit, to find strength even on the hardest days?

πŸ’ͺ✨ I offer some insights ! Let's delve into how we can inspire ourselves to embrace Mondays, pain and all.

Firstly, embracing a mindset shift is crucial. Pain, whether physical or emotional, can cloud our outlook on life, turning even the most mundane tasks into Herculean feats. But what if we saw Mondays as a reset button, a fresh start? Each Monday is an opportunity to set new intentions, to focus on what we can achieve rather than what holds us back. By taking even a small step forward, we begin to unlock our potential, finding resilience we might not have believed we possessed.

Secondly, harnessing the power of self-care is non-negotiable. In the quest to overcome and thrive, nurturing our body and mind is paramount. This could mean setting aside time for activities that soothe the soul and ease the painβ€”be it through meditation, gentle exercise, or delving into the pages of a book that speaks to our journey. By prioritizing self-care, especially on challenging days like Monday, we empower ourselves to face the week with a renewed sense of vigor.

Lastly, finding joy in the little things can significantly alter our perception of Mondays. It's easy to get lost in the overarching narrative of pain and hardship, yet, there's beauty and happiness to be found in life's simple moments. Maybe it's the warmth of a morning cup of coffee, the serene quiet of the early hours, or a motivational quote from Joanne Oswald's treasure trove of wisdom. These small pleasures can act as beacons of hope, guiding us through tough days with gentle reminders that joy exists, even amidst pain.

In conclusion, Mondays, while often daunting, hold the promise of a new beginningβ€”a chance to rewrite our story, one day at a time. By shifting our mindset, embracing self-care, and finding joy in the mundane, we arm ourselves against the rigors of pain and hardship. This is a practical guide to navigating life's tumultuous waters. So, as we face yet another Monday, let's do so with courage, armed with the knowledge that within us lies an unbreakable spirit, ready to conquer whatever lies ahead.

Let's transform our Mondays from a symbol of dread to a beacon of hope and resilience.

Together, we can, and we will. πŸ’–πŸŒŸ
