I had the pleasure of teaching a full day of yoga, meditation, breathwork and mindfulness for the wonderful kiddos Errol Village School this past Thursday. We sang songs, we laughed, played & tried challenging postures, we took some moments to pause and just breathe. We had the most wonderful day practicing mindful activities and techniques to help these children learn how to be present, focused, calm, engaged and confident. I had the best assistant all day long-my beautiful friend Lauren-and the staff were all so kind and supportive. My whole heart believes so strongly that our children and youth can benefit from these ancient practices and I will forever continue praying that this becomes the “norm” in ALL schools everywhere, both elementary and secondary. What a world it would be if our kids had moments to pause, breathe, meditate and move their bodies in such a way throughout their day to release some of that energy. The benefits to the kids, the teachers and the parents or caregivers at home would be seen and felt daily! Thanks again for the invite Errol Village, I hope to see you again! 🤍 And if you are interested in joining the mindful school revolution, feel free to reach out to me!

💫Why the Koshas, Chakras & Kleshas Matter — and Why This Two Part Workshop Journey Is So Transformative

Yoga is not just what we do on the mat.
It is a practice of understanding ourselves more deeply—body, breath, mind, energy, and heart.

💜 In this workshop, we explore three powerful yogic frameworks that guide true healing and self-awareness: the Koshas, the Chakras, and the Kleshas.

Together, they offer a compassionate roadmap for growth, balance, and liberation.

✨ The Koshas — the five layers of being
The Koshas remind us that we are multi-layered. Healing doesn’t happen in just the physical body—it unfolds through the body, breath, mind, wisdom, and inner peace. When we bring awareness to each layer through movement, breathwork, meditation, and reflection, we begin to feel more whole, grounded, and connected.

✨ The Chakras — the body’s energetic centers
The Chakras help us understand how energy, emotions, and lived experiences move through us. When energy becomes blocked—often through stress, trauma, or grief—we may feel stuck physically or emotionally. Through intentional yoga, breath, and awareness, we gently clear and balance these centers, supporting vitality, emotional flow, self-expression, and inner stability.

✨ The Kleshas — the roots of suffering
The Kleshas invite us to look with kindness at the patterns that keep us stuck: fear, attachment, aversion, self-doubt, and clinging to control. Rather than judging or fixing ourselves, we learn to observe these patterns with compassion and soften their grip. This is where deep inner freedom begins.

🌿 Why attend this workshop?Because when we understand where tension lives—in our layers, our energy, and our unconscious patterns—we gain the tools to meet life with more ease and clarity. This workshop is a supportive, nurturing space where we move beyond surface-level yoga and into meaningful self-inquiry and healing.

You’ll be guided through:
* Gentle, intentional movement
* Nervous-system-supportive breathwork
* Chakra awareness and balancing
* Reflection & Study on the Koshas and Kleshas
* Meditation for grounding, insight, and inner peace

This workshop is for anyone interested in understanding the deeper wisdom of what Yoga truly is, or for anyone navigating stress, grief, depression or anxiety.

If you feel the call to make a profound shift or wish to understand your life, your energy body or simply deepen your experience of what Yoga is, then this it! Join our Kula!

Come as you are. Leave feeling lighter, clearer, filled with profound knowledge and more connected—body, mind, and soul. ✨

Bring a yoga mat, a light lunch, water, journal/notebook & pen/pencil and dress comfortable in layers.

Lord of the Fish Pose (Ardha Matsyendrasana) 🐟✨

A gentle yet powerful twist, Lord of the Fish invites us to wring out the body and create space where we’ve been holding tension—physically, mentally, and energetically.

Benefits of this sacred twist:
🌿 Detoxifies the body by stimulating digestion and gently massaging the abdominal organs
🌀 Releases tension in the spine, shoulders, and hips, improving mobility and posture
💨 Supports healthy breathing by opening the chest and rib cage
🌙 Calms the nervous system, helping to reduce stress, anxiety, and mental fatigue
🔥 Energizes the spine and awakens inner fire, boosting circulation and vitality
💙 Encourages emotional release, allowing us to let go of what no longer serves

On an energetic level, this pose invites us to look inward before twisting outward—cultivating presence, patience, and awareness.

It reminds us that healing doesn’t always come from pushing harder, but from gently turning toward ourselves with compassion.

As you twist, ask yourself: What am I ready to release?
And as you unwind, notice the sense of spaciousness that remains.

A beautiful pose for renewal, reflection, and finding ease within movement. ✨🧘‍♀️

✨A quiet, healing space to move gently with grief.✨

“I had the privilege of attending Lisa’s Grief Movement class, and it was such a gentle, supportive experience. The slow movement, breath, and stillness created a safe space to soften, release, and simply be — without needing to explain or fix anything. Lisa leads with deep compassion, making everyone feel held and accepted exactly as they are. This class truly felt like a quiet, healing hug.” 🤍

The January Blues, Grief & Gentle Support

January can feel heavy.
For those carrying grief, this time of year can feel especially tender. The distractions of the holidays fall away, and the absence can feel louder. Grief may rise in waves—showing up as low energy, anxiety, numbness, heaviness in the body, or a deep sense of longing.

Nothing is wrong with you if January feels hard.

This is grief moving through a quieter season. 🙏

Grief is not only emotional—it lives in the body. When we gently move, breathe, and create space to feel, we allow grief to soften rather than remain stored within us.

In my Grief Movement & Yoga offering, we move slowly and intentionally, honoring where you are—physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Through mindful movement, breathwork, stillness, and reflection, we create a safe, nurturing space to release what feels heavy and reconnect with steadiness, calm, and self-compassion.

You don’t need to be healed, flexible, or have the right words.
You only need to arrive as you are.

✨ This practice is for anyone experiencing:
• Grief or loss of any kind
• Seasonal depression
• Anxiety, overwhelm, or sadness

✨ No yoga, meditation, or breathwork experience needed.
This evening is accessible and welcoming to ALL. There is no pressure to talk or share—you may simply BE and allow yourself to feel held, supported, and deeply cared for, like one big gentle hug. 🤗

🫶 You are not meant to carry this alone.

🥍Yoga for Young Athletes 🏒

In today’s competitive sports world, training the body is only part of the equation.

Training the mind and nervous system is just as essential.

Yoga for Young Athletes blends breathwork, meditation, mindfulness, and intentional movement to support athletes both on and off the field.

These practices help young athletes:
⚽️Build focus, confidence, and mental resilience
🏀Regulate emotions and manage pressure, stress, and performance anxiety
🏐Improve breath control, recovery, and body awareness
🏈Prevent burnout and injury by learning how to rest, reset, and listen to their bodies
🥎Develop healthy habits that support lifelong physical and mental well-being

Mindfulness and breathwork teach athletes how to stay present — whether it’s before a big game, after a tough loss, or during moments of high pressure.

These tools empower them to respond rather than react, strengthening both mindset and performance.

I’ve had the privilege of teaching Yoga for Young Athletes to multiple organizations within our community, working with teams across basketball, boxing, lacrosse, and multiple hockey teams — including the Sarnia Sting OHL.

Watching these athletes grow not only in strength and flexibility, but in self-awareness, confidence, and mental clarity, has been incredibly rewarding.

Strong bodies matter. 💪
Strong minds matter more.👊

And learning these tools early can change everything.

If you’re interested in bringing “Yoga for Young Athletes” to your team or organization, I’d love to connect 🤍

Email Lisa lamindfulliving@gmail.com and let’s get our youth empowered, strong and resilient in body, mind and spirit!🙏

💫Class Descriptions & Weekly Offerings at The Loft within Ironworks Health and Wellness

Mindful Mobility
This nourishing class weaves together yoga postures, mobility exercises, gentle strength and flexibility work, and intuitive, inspired movement. Each class is thoughtfully and lovingly curated, offering something new each time while meeting you exactly where you are.
Designed to support joint and bone health, Mindful Mobility helps improve range of motion, balance, posture, and overall ease in the body—while gently reducing pain, stiffness, and tension. More than just movement, this is a practice of listening, honoring, and reconnecting with your body.
This class invites you to move with awareness, confidence, and compassion, empowering you to embrace your body and your fitness journey at any age, with any limitations, and at any level of experience. A truly grounding, strengthening, and freeing practice you won’t want to miss. ✨🪷
Mondays & Thursdays
9:30-10:30am

Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow, deeply nourishing practice that invites you to soften, surrender, and turn inward. This class is primarily floor-based, with most postures practiced seated or lying down, allowing the body to fully relax and receive.
Through longer-held, gentle postures, Yin Yoga works deeply into the connective tissues and fascial network, supporting joint and bone health, improving mobility, and helping to hydrate and restore the body from the inside out. This practice also encourages the healthy flow of Chi (life force energy), while calming the nervous system and reducing stress and inflammation.
More than a physical practice, Yin Yoga is an invitation into stillness and mindful awareness — a meditative journey that creates space for release, reflection, and deep restoration. Perfect for those seeking balance, grounding, and a quiet yet powerful practice for body, mind, and spirit. 🌙✨
Tuesdays
10:45-11:45am

Somatic Flow
Somatic Flow is a mindful, breath-led practice that invites you to move from the inside out—listening deeply to the wisdom of your body as movement and breath continuously sync together. Each class begins with a grounding warm-up, gradually unfolding into Sun or Moon Salutations, and then into a creatively woven flow of asanas designed to cultivate awareness, presence, and self-reflection.
This practice gently builds heat from within while guiding you through a balanced sequence of seated and standing postures, forward folds, backbends, twists, core strengthening, balancing poses, arm balances, and gentle inversions. We close with cooling stretches and an extended final relaxation, allowing the body and nervous system to fully integrate the practice.
Somatic Flow can feel “challenging” in the sense that it involves moving up and down from the floor and flowing through transitions. If you are newer to yoga, you are warmly invited to move slowly, honor your pace, and trust that with consistency, the rhythm and intelligence of the flow will naturally unfold. This is truly an all-levels class, with options, modifications, and supportive guidance offered throughout—encouraging you to meet yourself with curiosity, compassion, and ease. 🌿✨
Thursdays
10:45-11:45am

Yoga Pulse w/ Weights
Yoga Pulse is a fun, upbeat, and empowering practice designed to ignite your inner fire and build strength from the inside out. Using light 2-pound weights, we blend fluid yoga-inspired movement, intentional breathwork, and a motivating playlist to create a class that feels both energizing and deeply embodied.
This practice builds heat from within while strengthening the core, improving stability and balance, and awakening muscles you didn’t know you had—all without losing the mindful connection to breath and body. Expect rhythmic pulses, creative sequences, and moments that challenge you to feel strong, capable, and alive.
Perfect for those seeking a little energetic pick-me-up and a confidence boost, Yoga Pulse is where movement meets empowerment, fire, and flow. You’ll leave feeling grounded, powerful, and lit up from the inside out. 🔥💪✨
Mondays
10:45-11:45am

Somatic Yoga
Somatic Yoga is an invitation to slow down, soften, and return home to your body. In this practice, we let go of how postures “should” look and release rigid ideas of alignment, choosing instead to move from inner awareness and sensation. You are guided to listen inward, follow your body’s natural impulses, and move in ways that feel nourishing and intuitive.
Somatic yoga focuses on the felt experience of movement rather than external form. Through slow, mindful motion and breath, the practice supports the nervous system and gently releases stored tension, stress, and emotional holding within the body. This allows the mental, emotional, and energetic layers of being to soften, unwind, and restore balance.
This is a gentle, deeply nurturing practice that reconnects us with softness, curiosity, and a sense of innocence within the body. Over time, Somatic Yoga helps cultivate a more compassionate, trusting relationship with yourself—one rooted in listening rather than striving.
Please note: Somatic Yoga is different from Somatic Flow. This class is slower, more subtle, and more restorative in nature, offering a gentler experience than the flow-based practice. 🌱💫
Tuesdays 9:30-10:30am
Wednesdays 10:45-11:45am

Stretch & Flexibility Yoga
Stretch & Flexibility Yoga is a gentle invitation to slow down, release tension, and create space in both body and mind. Through mindful stretching and soothing, intentional movements, this practice focuses on improving flexibility and mobility while allowing the nervous system to settle into a deep state of calm.
Each posture is offered with compassion and care, encouraging you to move at your own pace, honor your body’s unique needs, and soften fully into the present moment. There is no rushing, no striving—only spaciousness, breath, and ease.
You’ll leave class feeling lighter, more open, and deeply nourished, as though you’ve gifted yourself true rest and renewal. This practice is perfect for anyone seeking to unwind, support joint health, enhance flexibility, and find balance in the midst of a busy, full life. 🌿✨
Friday’s
10:30-11:15am

Relaxing Blend
Our Blend is a deeply soothing and restorative practice designed to help you unwind, soften, and return to a place of grounded calm. This class weaves together gentle yoga styles such as Yin and Restorative Yoga, paired with breathwork that quiets the mind and settles the nervous system.
Through nourishing stretches, supported postures, and intentional breathing, you’ll be guided into a state of deep relaxation—melting away tension, stress, and mental chatter while creating space for ease and renewal in the body, mind, and spirit.
We conclude with an extended savasana or Yoga Nidra, enhanced by a gentle temple massage with essential oils and a guided meditation that carries you into profound rest and inner stillness. A tranquil, soul-soothing experience and a beautiful way to begin your week. 🕊️✨
