Congratulations to all of the amazing businesses, customer service people, and selfless volunteers in Ponoka. You all make me proud to live in this community! 💛 it was a blast celebrating all the award recipients and nominees last night at the Ponoka and District Chamber of Commerce Business Awards banquet held at the
There is one nominee in particular whom I am especially proud of: my husband. His dedication to the community of Ponoka stretches far past the Ponoka Bantam Broncs football team. He cares deeply about every single kid, student, parent, sibling, volunteer, alumni player, business sponsor, coach, spectator…every single individual blade of grass on that football field - and every other blade of grass that forms the town of Ponoka.
He relies on this community to support his dream of giving every kid a chance to be part of a team. He has built trust with the town of Ponoka by always putting his words to action, holding a safe space for their youth, and showing his gratitude to all of the help he receives. The kids he coaches learn from this behaviour and are making this community a better place every day.
When you compliment Todd on his accomplishments with the football team, he will answer, “I’m lucky to be in the position to coach.” But I think we can all agree that we are the lucky ones - we’re all so lucky to have him in our lives. (Quite literally what I wrote in my wedding speech 😅😅)
I’m so proud of you, Todd. Congratulations on the Ponoka Bantam Broncs’ nomination for Community/Service Group of the Year award. You will never stop impressing me.
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered, supported, sponsored, and played for the Ponoka Bantam Broncs. You are all part of the magic 💚🖤🤍
