Winter Solstice ❄️ | McKinney Psychology
Today we honor the Winter Solstice — the shortest day and longest night of the year. As daylight begins its slow return, we’re reminded that even in the darkest seasons, light is growing.
In therapy and in life, growth isn’t always visible. Sometimes it’s quiet, subtle, and happening beneath the surface — just like the earth resting in winter.
If you’ve been feeling tired, overwhelmed, or stuck, you’re not alone. This season invites rest, reflection, and compassionate care for yourself. Healing isn’t linear; it’s seasonal.
From all of us at McKinney Psychology, may you find peace in the pause, strength in the stillness, and hope in the returning light. 🌟
