We are now offering Compression Stocking Assessment & Measurement Appointments.

Medical compression stockings can help support circulation and manage swelling in the legs. Each pair is selected based on an assessment and precise measurements taken in clinic.

In some cases, a prescription from a family physician may be required prior to ordering.

Appointments can be booked online or by calling the clinic.

🎉 Exciting News! 🎉
Our Chiropodist Jaffer Shaikh, DCh, MBBS, from Port Elgin Foot Clinic, attended the Wounds Canada National Hybrid Conference 2024 in London, Ontario! It was a proud moment as he joined the convocation ceremony to celebrate his recent graduation from the Wound Care Champion Program (WCCP). 🏆✨
This prestigious program is accredited by Wounds Canada, the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (RNAO), and the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. The event brought together over 1,000 attendees in a hybrid format, learning from international experts in wound care and celebrating the WCCP graduates!
At Port Elgin Foot Clinic, we're dedicated to helping patients with diabetes prevent complications and stay strong on their feet! 🦶💪

It was great attending the Surgical Skills Workshop today! A day filled with learning, sharing, and improving our surgical skills in the company of the most creative minds. We had chiropodists and podiatrists from the most recent graduates to the most senior members of the profession attend this awesome event organized by the Ontario Society of Chiropodists. It was fun refining some of the most frequently used skills and reviving those unused for some time. Such workshops are a great stimulus to change how we practice what we practice in a way that should be practiced!
