Let’s talk about W-sitting!

You’ve probably seen your little one sitting with their knees bent and feet out to the sides — forming the shape of a “W.” While it can seem comfy and common, sitting like this often can limit core strength, balance, and hip rotation over time. 🧍‍♀️💪

Encourage variety! Try sitting criss-cross, long sitting, or side sitting instead to help build strength and flexibility.

Every child is different — occasional W-sitting isn’t usually a concern, but if it’s your child’s go-to position, a physiotherapist can help guide safe movement patterns. 💙
