📣 We are excited to announce that we officially have another Occupational Therapist that has joined the PlayWorks Team!
Walter brings 11 years of experience working with adults and seniors as an occupational therapist. He has worked in various practice settings including private clinics treating children, client homes helping people with care/mobility needs, and rehabilitation/medical units in various hospitals. He started working as an occupational therapist with children in 2024. He earned a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia.
Walter enjoys working with children in creative ways to maximize their potential. He is passionate about working with parents to provide individualized therapy and recommendations for each child, supporting children in areas including sensory processing, activities of daily living, fine motor, and cognition.
Outside of the clinic, Walter enjoys running and travelling. He also enjoys playing board games and often uses board games with children in the clinic as a strategy to help improve fine motor skills and cognitive abilities
Languages spoken: English, Cantonese, some Mandarin
