Epic 50th in Portugal. Our dream come true! 💃🇵🇹 We have been friends for 45 years. That is SOMETHING! Love you both dearly and deeply 🥰 We planned this amazing trip for ourselves over a year ago. A month before lift off, I didn’t know if I would be well enough to travel. It was devastating to hear news that rocked us all. So many decisions had to be made very very quickly. But again thanks to my amazing medical team, (and the angels)😇 and my family and friends, we did it. I have the best friends in the world. They carried my bags, fed me, handed me my coffee and supplied all the pastries imaginable. I could not have travelled without their care and help. My heart is so full. ❤️🥐🥮 #50

She is everything. She is my whole heart. Happy 23 to my baby! Maddy has shown us her strength and compassion and kindness for her whole life. She is a warrior woman and wiser than most of us. I am in awe of her good spirits during some of the hardest moments of her young life. Love you to the moon and back babe. I hope you had the best day! This is 23. Maddy you are loved and celebrated!

Despite it all. I am doing it all. Smiles. Sunshine. Beaches. 10,000 steps! I LOVE Vau and Obi Dos Castle. I have the best people in the world taking care of me! Portugal 🇵🇹 is in my heart forever… more adventures to come during my 5 week trip of a lifetime. IYKYK.

Many of you know me well. We have been here before. When difficulty or tragedy hits home, I purposely ADD more fun, joy and awe to my life. Last night = Big Mac fries, a terrible canned margharita drink, lots of singing and dancing and over 15,000 steps. Now that I am living alongside stage 4 Breast Cancer I am saying yes to life. Yes to all the life I have left. I won’t lie and sugar coat it, I cried from pain on the way home until the meds kicked in. I am proud of myself for having fun despite the pain. I am less than a week out from radiation to my spine and I did it!!! Despite the DX. Despite the hardship. I did it. Chance Pena opened for The Lumineers. Zach Bryan was the special guest and I think he may have forgotten some words to his own song. And I friggin love that. It’s so human and I saw him laugh about it after. On International Women’s Day we highlight amazing trailblazers and together we stand up to tyranny and fascism. We stand against violence towards women. We stand against the systematic suppression of female, femme, or womanhood and their experiences. We will only survive this colossal betrayal of human rights by standing together. We need allies. We need us all.
